I will never buy a car from Carvana again. I wanted to give zero stars but the site won't take my review unless I give at least one star. I paid cash for my Chevy Cruze, it was delivered June 27. The first temporary plate/registration from Georgia (I live in Michigan and that's where it needs to be registered) expired in early August. After the car was on expired plates for about a month, I received another temporary registration/plate, this time from Arizona. That will expire on October 22. When Carvana sold me this car, I believe they were not a licensed dealer in Michigan. They tried to blame Covid and the Michigan Secretary of State (DMV) for the delay, but Carvana admitted a few weeks ago that it hasn't even been submitted to the State and as of today I have no reason to believe that has changed. The customer service people are friendly but they can't really help. I've been calling almost daily for the past few weeks, but they can't really tell me anything and there is no progress. They blame it all on their "third party vendor" who handles the registration but the vendor works for Carvana and if the aren't doing the job it's Carvana's responsibility. It will be FOUR MONTHS I have gone without a permanent registration, title or plates. Do a little research and you will se that I am not an exception. This has been a massive failure by Carvana since before Covid. There are many, many people all over the country in the same boat as me. Another guy in Michigan has been waiting SEVEN MONTHS. This is a huge problem for Carvana. They have my money but without a title I don't really own the car. I can't sell or transfer it to my daughter which is what I want to do. I would give negative stars if that were possible. More
Great truck but it arrived with issues not in the listing. Has been hard to deal with repairs both with Carvana and the warranty place, Silver Rock. It was nice to not deal with a salesman at the dealerships though. They need to fine tune some things and then they will be a force to be reckoned with. They will put traditional dealers out of business. More
At first i was upset as my delivery kept getting pushed back but once it actually arrived all that went out the window! I’m completely in love with my new Honda Civic and the hand off process with Tyler wa back but once it actually arrived all that went out the window! I absolutely loved the ease of purchasing a car through Carvana! We started out at a dealership and felt overwhelmed. Carvana was transparent and we felt more secure that we were getting a fair deal. Horrible experience when things go bad. Trying to speak with anyone who can make decisions is a lost cause. This was not visible due to the pant being matched, but kept getting same canned responses from carvana asking for pictures. Sent them the signed inspection report and they did nothing with it. Other than that the car was sound, just felt carvana wad dishonest and used layers of customer service phone jockeys to avoid having to rectify the situation. Hold times are usually > 30 min, online chat > 30 min, email. - good luck. Of course they use the 7 month old covid work from home as an excuse for poor customer wait times. Other problem is each time you talk to someone you have to start over, don't think they even track interactions. This was my third and last purchase from this company. More
