My husband and I wanted to purchase a new car for our daughter and contacted Howard McCoy. He was so personable, patient , and professional. We felt he was very sincere in all his details on the car. It was the only pleasurable experience we ever had purchasing a car. Thank you so much Howard McCoy. He was off the day we picked it up, and an extremely nice gentleman named Angelo Ferraro completed the paperwork for the purchase of the car . Thank you so much, Angelo. I'm very disappointed to say we were taken advantage of by Danny Lopez. We expressed that we were NOT interested in GAP insurance to both our salesman and to Danny. Danny let us know that GAP was in the co by Danny Lopez. We expressed that we were NOT interested in GAP insurance to both our salesman and to Danny. Danny let us know that GAP was in the contract and I let him know we did not want it. At no point did we hear anything about our GAP insurance options, maintenance options, etc. like we typically would when signing for a new car. He proceeded to tell us that it could be canceled after 90 days after we expressed that we did not want or need GAP. I called Wells Fargo, our lender, to confirm that GAP was indeed required and that I could not cancel it for 90 days. The agent at Wells Fargo let me know that there was $1200 worth of GAP insurance added to the loan and that it was definitely not a requirement nor would be there a 90-day waiting period before canceling. We ended up having to contact our salesman who was able to get us the refund paperwork for the GAP insurance since I no longer wanted to speak or work with Danny due to his untruthfulness in the matter. Sure enough, the refund paperwork had the box marked "changed mind." I absolutely did not change my mind - I had made it very clear from the beginning that we were not interested. Incredibly disappointed that someone in Casey's finance department would take advantage of clients for their own personal gain. It was not a misunderstanding - it was outright dishonesty that could have cost us an additional $1200 had I not called Wells Fargo. Don't let a friendly facade fool you. I can only assume many others have been taken advantage of as well. More
This is my second time dealing with Casey Toyota, and both times I had the pleasure of dealing with Howard. He was very helpful, treated me with respect, and above all didn't rush me. I emailed Casey abt a used car; got a call from them, learned car was still available; set appt for later that day; drove 80 mins. and were told on arrival the car had been sold the night before. Incredibly frustrating, my attempts to follow up to at least relay to the internet or general manager have been unsuccessful to date; seemed very cowardly that the mgrs didn’t tell us of the error themselves but instead left the bad messenger responsibility to another salesperson. Tony called to tell me a vehicle wad available. I could not take the call. I called back that evening was told Tony wa a on a call and would call me right back. He did not have the common decency to call to inform me. When I did make contact the dealer attempted to sell me a different car. Sales manager told me it was their practice to sell vehicles even after they had promised to sell the vehicle to customer they had given their word to previously. This dealer had the opportunity to create a long term customer who trades every 2 years but their short term greed just lost them s e verbal car sales. More

Mr. Househlder is a genuine and thoughtful salesman. His thoughtfulness extended to making sure the sale process wasn't a 'hurry-up and wait' process doing the job of 2-3 departments to get us out the door to do what we wanted versus sit in the showroom. Lastly, he follow-up on small items we requested to be done for the vehicle as well as 1-2 months after for missing accessories and the temporary plates. He's a class act in a tough profession and we'd go back to him in a minute if we get through another 175000 miles of the reliable Toyota SUV V8s! More
