"Buyer Beware!"

After reading all the great reviews on the web about CFSL and their A+ rating on BBB I decided to buy a 2005 Honda Civic for my son who is going away to college in Aug. During the test drive I asked the salesman what that sound was (like a flutter or thumping). He said it was the test drive license plate, that he only put one screw and the other side was loose. Okay I said to myself. My oldest son drove the car home while I followed him w my car. It started to get dark and I called him to put his lights on and he said he did. They were not on. Pulled over and turned the headlights on and off and nothing. He drove home w the bright lights on unitl we could get to an auto store. Turns out both headlights and one tail light was blown and needed new bulbs. This is after leaving, we were half way home and reassured by CFSL cars there was a thorough inspection done (they slap a blue sticker on the windshield to prove this). There's $31. WAIT, there's more! The next day we went to the store w 2005 Honda purchased from CFSL. I heard the noise again. This time louder. I get out and make sure the lisence plate is secured tightly w bolts and it is. We noticed the cheap hubcaps were loose and thought it might be the hubcaps loose so we hammered those in and tightened the lug nuts on the tires. Started to drive and STILL heard the thumping. Turned around to head home and switch cars and now i hear a loud screaching and a thumping. We turned around in a Cul de sac and when the car does a sharp turn it feels and sounds like it is going to fall apart. Bought the car on a Saturday and right away brought the car to Pep Boys on Monday for a free inspection. They called me two hours later w bad news. The whole front suspension is shot (tirods, struts, cv joints, belts are dry and cracked, and the breaks need to be done (they told me breaks can wait a while though). This car was bought for my son so in order for him to be safe, I told them to fix everything, including the breaks. The total bill for this day was $1891.46. I have pictures of the broken parts and reciepts. WAIT, there's more! I was driving the car home from Pep boys and the window got foggy. Turned on the defroster, and the hot air wouldnt shut off. Brought it back to Pep Boys thinking they accidentaly did something to the air and they said no, its the AC/Heat motor was turned to cold manually and the motor that controls the AC/Heat/Defrost, etc was not working. Needed a new motor which cost $352.06. WAIT, there's more! After two weeks of having the car, it was nice out and thought I'd roll the window down and NOTHING! It's stuck. Brought it to Pep Boys, free diagnostic and the pulleys broke. Cost to fix that is $300 (but I am not fixing that, im sure we can fix that for little cost w You tube video). I have pictures of receipts, photos of the broken parts and emails/texts/BBB complaint between the manager Jim and I. He wanted me to drive the car back. I told him I was not going to drive the car back and risk my life in I-4 w an almost cracked all the way through axil or Tirod. I opened a case through the BBB and was away for two weeks and missed my window to reply back to my original complaint. I blew it. But in the reply back from CFSL they said there is a 7 day, no questions asked warranty on every vehicle but I didnt ask about it so I was never told. BS! Just as I signed an AS IS and also signed a no promises clause I should have signed a document stating there is a 7 day buy back if ones not happy. I have platinum triple A and would have towed this piece of crap car right back them and got my $$$$$$$$ back! But I was sold an UNSAFE car, knowing my son is using it to go to college. I trusted Jim and their reviews are outstanding so I just do not understand why this happened to me? I know I am not going to get any money back, but I want people to know what they did to me. They offered me $381 and I told them NO. I want it all back or nothing. Jim told me Bobby would only offer me $381 becuase I declined the repair of the struts. WRONG! It clearly states on my itemized Pep Boys reciepts that the struts were repaired. I will fight and drag their good name through the dirt before I accept $381 out of over $2000 of repairs. They took advantage of a hard working, single mother who was trying to do a nice thing for her college bound kid. We had to cancel our Spring vacation and my sons tour w the drum corp he tried out for. Not cool!

I will be coming back to use them again, I felt no pressure and they were very kind to my younger son who had to sit through the paperwork process. Im so happy we found them. Good experience. Would go there again. Sales office not impressive at first sight, but don’t let that stop you because service is great and prices are reasonable. No haggling so you don’t have to go back and forth on price.

"Amazing experience, seriously "

I walked in extremely nervous due to a situation with my current title not thinking it was possible to actually sell my car and get into a different one. Within a matter of like 30 minutes they did some research for me and found a way it would be possible. Then within a matter of hours I drove away with a new (used) car! I'm honestly still amazed at how extremely friendly everyone I talked to was which really helped calm my nerves, they made the whole process so easy thinking back on it I can't believe it. There is no pressure in buying AT ALL. Even if you're just thinking about looking or have questions just go visit them!

As a first time car buyer, I can say that I was very pleased with Central Florida Sales & Leasing and had both a great shopping and buying experience! Jim Craig was a great help throughout the whole process. He let me test drive as many cars as I wanted, gave me a rundown of the car, and allowed me as much time as I wanted to converse with my family to decide which car I wanted to go with. There was no pressure to make any decisions and they were very accommodating as to what I was looking for and what finances I had to work with. Bob Binns, Jim Craig, and the rest of the staff were very genuine, friendly, and helpful, making for an even better car buying experience!
