Hello Brooke, After reviewing your experience with Chapman's service department and investigating the issue, the fuse-array was shorted and caused the issue with the light, there was no “melted hose”. This could have happened beacuse the Jeep being jump-started incorrectly by someone, as you indicated the tow company had to jump start the Jeep. Upon delivery when your Jeep was serviced on 4/1/24 the battery light would have been on consistently and stayed on solid. When the Jeep was back in for service, your service advisor took you to where your vehicle was located and showed you the area of concern that was shorted. The fuse-array is nowhere near the area worked on/repaired. We internally took care of $425 for customer satisfaction. In regards to the review you pulled, that review was not related to a battery repair, nor was it the same issue or concern. We are sorry you feel that way about our service department. You should check on your service dept. I called three times to ensure a loner or rental was available, I was assured there would be at time of drop off. Got there no one knew anything about it. My truck has been there since 7 am Tuesday for a SCHEDULED appointment, it is five days later and just talked to service and no one has even looked at the truck and no one has any idea when I should expect it back! Worst service I have ever experienced in my life! I encourage everyone to go somewhere that is professional and treats you with common respect!!!
