After doing a lot of research and shopping I purchased a vehicle from Chicago Motors Cars, partially because of the reviews here at Dealerrater.com. First of all, Jose Perez was very friendly and as helpful as I believe he was authorized to be but... this place is terrible. One of the first days I am on the lot a sales manager is chasing a guy in a Lotus yelling at him, making a scene because the guy decided to leave the lot and didn't want to continue to negotiate. I should have listened to my instincts and just left. However, I bought a used vehicle from them. I first took it to the local BMW dealership to have it mechanically checked out, which made the sales manager upset. It came through passing the inspection. What I didn't do, and should have, was to have the ENTIRE VEHICLE inspected thoroughly because it does not appear that Chicago Motor Cars inspects their cars before selling them to the consumer. You can check the aforementioned website where ownership admitted in court that they don't. Shame on me for assuming that they were a reputable dealership that would do that. At the point of sale they make you buy a Protection Warranty service for like $300 that is nothing more than a fee that they will not waive. It covers nothing. It is a complete scam. So within a couple of month of having my car the paint started chipping and the bumper fell off completely. I wasn't in an accident and had never had any contact with the bumper yet one day on the highway it just fell off. It appeared that the bumper was not installed correctly and they either were part of the patching process or never inspected the vehicle. Nonetheless, when I called them as soon as this happened to discuss the paint and the bumper, they wanted nothing to do with it. The car is basically a $30k piece of crap that is just falling apart... and I have only had it for 8 months. I asked them to help me with the bumper. I think I was being reasonable by asking for them to try to get me a decent deal on a painted replacement bumper and possibly share some of the costs since they stole the $300 fee for the warranty just to make it right. Jose agreed the bumper should not just fall off but they weren't willing to help in any way. They wanted no part of it. So maybe I am just dumb for not giving a vehicle a 2000 point inspection but I am not sure you could be savvy enough (nor would it be worth the effort) to fully inspect the vehicles the way you need to before purchasing from this dealership. Shady operation with a series of shady activities... just google it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. Trust me you will regret it. More

I was looking at Victory motorcycles on eBay and found a perfect example of the bike I was looking for. I emailed CMC to inquire if there were any damage to the bike. First thing next morning I received a r perfect example of the bike I was looking for. I emailed CMC to inquire if there were any damage to the bike. First thing next morning I received a return email from Steven Ruiz and another associate, Steven told me there was no damage to the bike and to give him a call if I had any other questions. If you see it on eBay with a buy it now price and you really want it you better make it happen or it could be gone forever before you get back from lunch. Thinking this, I called Steven and began the short and painless process of purchasing the bike and getting shipped to PA. There was an issue with my funds coming from a closing escrow account that was to pay the balance of money down and shipping, took longer than anticipated to receive and pass on to CMC. Sam, the finance manager was understanding and friendly about the situation and along with Steve was a pleasure to work with and do business with. Rob who delivered my bike was a nice guy that I could tell had a lot of experience in transporting high end autos and bikes. Good job everyone!! I would not hesitate to recommend CMC to any of my friends or family. When I look for my next vehicle, I will start with Chicago Motor Cars. More
