Below is the review I gave on google 4 weeks ago, along with the info provided through a BBB complaint. Not only did I not receive the keys yet (they called after the review while I was at work - despite with the info provided through a BBB complaint. Not only did I not receive the keys yet (they called after the review while I was at work - despite me already telling Malik, Michele, and Roy where to send the keys), but they have not responded to the BBB complaint or my texts emails from before the complaint. They made their deal so they apparently don't care about their customer service or integrity. On 29 July I bought what I was led to believe was a brand new Acadia. I noticed a stain on the seat. I told them I wanted the stain out that night if I was going to buy it and was told they would take care of it. Once signing paperwork I was told they didn't have the right guy for the job and I would have to drive almost 3 hours back for it. The paperwork said there was 1 mile on the vehicle, but as I left I realized it had almost 3,000 miles. As I walked out to the vehicle to leave it was at the right angle to see 2 deep scratches that they tried to hide with a temp repair. I asked for my second set of keys and was told they accidentally gave them to another customer and would order a new set. The next day I was showing someone the car and lifted the back seat up and discovered a huge mess of crumbs and sticky stains. I called Michele Thurston and was told a dealer had been driving it for weeks for personal use (used vehicle) and that he had his grandkids in the car. She told me new keys had been ordered and I could get the cleaning/scratch issues taken care of locally and they would pay for it, but when I took it to someone they told me the scratches were so bad it would need a complete repaint. I told Michele this and she said they needed to take care of this internally. It got set up, but when I took a day off work to drive back to Houston the guy looked at it and told me the same thing (needed a complete repaint but didn't recommend it because that part wouldn't match then), as if he hadn't been told this already. In other words, when they told me they could fix it that day the way it needed to be done it was a lie. I had to accept the buffing option where you can still see the scratches. Also, they only spot cleaned a few areas. The vehicle has never been completely cleaned since they tried to sell it. I had reached out to Michele after the service for the scratch was scheduled to verify if the cleaning was taking place or if I could still have the interior cleaned locally, and she never responded. I have never experienced a dealership that tries to sell a dirty and damaged vehicle. They are taking advantage of the car shortage. Also, I have had the vehicle less than 8 weeks, and the oil is down to 30%. This tells me they either did not top it off before selling after using it as their own vehicle or that something is wrong with that part of the car as well. I'm glad I didn't have the car detailed locally and then expected the payment I was told would occur in an email from Michele, because now that she does not respond to anything I don't trust that it would have been honored. The day I went back for the service, I asked about the keys and Roy told me once they came I would have to go to a local dealership and get them programmed. Okay. No problem, except it sounded as if they hadn't been ordered yet despite me being told weeks before that they had been. Now, as I reached out again to Michele and then my salesperson, I am being ignored on an answer for an update. The night I drove to Houston to purchase the vehicle I told my salesperson I was calling my bank to extend my card limit for my down payment. He failed to tell me that the dealership only takes a certain amount on card and the rest has to be cash. When I went to pay, the finance person told me this and then had me riding around bank to bank to try and withdraw several thousand dollars. In the end, that wasn't possible and they changed the limit for the card. Wasting time. Then, the employees just kept blaming each other for different things in front of me. Also, I asked that my plates be mailed to me and was told this was no problem, but then when they I arrived I was called and told to pick them up. I have bought several new vehicles and have never ever had issues like this. I have never had to inspect under seats for messes or double check oil levels or mileage. I was patient and understanding for most of this, but being ignored has been the last straw. If I could give 0 stars I would. More
