She then woke up early this morning, enduring an additional 1.5-hour drive for the scheduled appointment. True to her word, she arrived on time, the car was on the lot, and she had her car appraised. However, here's where it gets maddening. The online price had suddenly skyrocketed by $10,000. The "general" manager's excuse? Staffing problems and said that prices fluctuate.
