"Colonial Buick and GMC, The Guardian Angels of Galen Street"

Our GMC Yukon unexpectedly died in the middle of Galen Street during rush hour on Tuesday. The traffic was heavy and there were several tense moments. To our surprise we were stopped right in front of Colonial Buick and GMC and literally 100 feet from the service department. The service department was so helpful in coming out immediately with a mechanic to access the problem. After about 15-20 minutes they were able to get our car running long enough to get it into the shop. Initially, it was thought to be some kind of a fuel or fuel pump problem. It was late in the day and the service department wanted to keep the vehicle overnight Again, the service staff came to the rescue and had a rental car delivered (Enterprise, Watertown, MA., a nice exceptionally clean Malibu, 15,000 miles, at an extremely reasonable price) which we drove to Braintree and back the next afternoon. Mr. Anthony Carbone, the Service Manager, was extremely helpful and explained that they could find no problem with the automobile. Diagnostically everything checked out through the computer and the car had been running smoothly for some time. We picked up the car Wednesday afternoon.. Mr. Carbone and his staff were all very nice, professional, knowledgeable, honest and respectful people. Because no parts were replaced, Mr. Carbone gave a "no charge" invoice. The honesty and fairness of the Colonial service department was well beyond the norm for car dealers and repair shops. Because of our extraordinary experience, when the time comes to trade for a new vehicle Colonial Buick and GMC will be my choice of dealership.. Again our thanks to Mr. Carbone and his entire service department staff. Congratulations to Colonial for hiring the very best.

Bought a new Cascada in May. Roof failed in a rainstorm in August. Had to park under a bridge because the roof would not come up. Finally was able to get home after rains ended two hours later still with the roof down. Colonial took the car immediately and kept it safe out of the weather and worked with General Motors to determine what this unique problem was. They gave me a loaner car for the entire period. If service like this continues throughout my ownership I will buy from Colonial "forever"!

Steve is the best. If you need you car fixed he the man to see. Being a woman I am used to being taken advantage of when it comes to car repair and I must say Steve is not like that. "Their Service Professionalism Leaves You Confident & Sure"

Anthony and Steve are, far and away service quality, leaders in Greater Boston. Every consumer knows what confidence in repair service professionals feels like and can quickly recognize when something (as the saying goes) "isn't quite right". Again today, as with other work done on other cars of mine, everything was exactly right with a repair on my daughters' Chevy Impala. And everything was exactly right in our experiences in marshaling cars (drop-off/pick-ups of ours and a loaner) and getting the repair work done. The pace of progress was timely ("in" on time, "out" on time), despite the need for replacement of a rarely-in-stock emissions system part .. (all that being in sharp contrast with our experience somewhere else when "we couldn't get around to it" on the simplest of brake repairs). With Anthony and Steve, the communications - the car's apparent problem, the cause, the extent of the repair required, the estimated parts and labor involved and the price for these elements - were clear, concise and adjusted to the skills of the consumer involved. (I am an engineer with car repair experience, while the licensed daughter, involved in the whole transaction and working with Anthony and Steve, is still learning.) I could go on similarly with accolades .. But why write you a novel ... Better still, you should call upon Anthony and/or Steve yourself and have your own excellent experience in car repair. You are sure to again know what confidence in real professionals feels like.

My car was towed to Colonial after it died on Pike; almost 100 miles away from home. They were able to accommodate my car immediately, identified issue and fix before the end of the day. Bonus - broken water pump was still under warranty. Love GMC cars. Steven and Anthony were wonderful. I would recommend Colonial to anyone.
