The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

We were lied to by three different sales and sales managers when shopping for a Volvo XC60. We were looking for a feature and asked Ricky (who was new) to verify with the manager if this feature exist managers when shopping for a Volvo XC60. We were looking for a feature and asked Ricky (who was new) to verify with the manager if this feature exists. He came back after talking to his boss and said yes. We found out later that this fearture doe not exists. There's was no need to lie to a customer. If the vehicle doesnt have a feature dont lie about it. We were working with Ricky and called to make another appointment with him. We were told he would be in the afternoon. But then got confirmation that we had an appointment with someone else. We also go emails from other sales reps. We thought this was suspicious. So we called back to make sure we would have an appointment with Ricky. They said yes. When we got to the dealership and asked for Ricky the receptionist said that Ricky was no longer there. Calvyn Clatanoff approached us and said he would help us and re affirmed that Ricky was no longer there. So I said that it looks like Courtesy Volvo has lied to us three this about Ricky. It's none of our business if Ricky is there or not but they didn't have to lie about it. I don't feel comfortable working with anyone at this dealership after this. Go somewhere else. More
