One of the worst service departments in GA, waited 3 weeks for an appointment only to find out after 2 1/2 hours you guys didn’t have the Nitro or the tool to fix my suspension. Also tried to test drive vehicle but no one could find keys to the vehicles I wanted to drive. Well I went to Newnan-Peachtree Jeep the next day where they not only serviced my Jeep but I bought a new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, Thanks but I won’t be back to Chronic!

"I purchased a used 2017 Grand Cherokee in august 2020...."

I purchased a used 2017 Grand Cherokee in august 2020. Christian Newsome was my salesman and he is 5 star in every way. The service department is another story. Immediately after the purchase the transmission was leaking enough fluid to stain my driveway. There isn’t a dipstick to check the level of the fluid so I brought it back in to have the service department correct the problem. They made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. They took the transmission pan off and put a new gasket on, and they charged me for the gasket!!!!!! They acted like they did me a favor for only charging me their cost on the gasket. Fast forward to February 2021. Ever since the purchase there has been an intermittent problem with the transmission not shifting out of first gear. I have to pull over and stop the vehicle, turn it off, crank it back up and it works correctly. I took it in for an oil/filter change February 24. I specified the transmission problem to the service writer and asked if they could look to see if the transmission was still leaking fluid. When I returned to pick it up I was told that there was evidence of leakage and the transmission gasket was saturated. When I asked why they didn’t look into it I was told “we just do the oil changes, that would have to be taken care of by the other part of the service department. When I went to pay for the oil change I asked the cashier who I needed to talk to to resolve the leak and the shifting problem. She referred me to someone else. I described the problem to her and once again I was treated like a red headed stepchild. I asked if she could please make a notation in writing about my complaint so I would have it in writing about the problem while it was still under warranty. You would have thought I asked her if I could stick a hot poker in her eye. She told me I would have to talk to the service manager to have that done....and of course he wasn’t there. The only people I have seen smile at the dealership was the salesman and the finance guy when I paid him cash for the purchase. I’ve heard horror stories about Cronic in years past and even have my own horror story. I thought I’d give them another chance when I made my purchase. Nobody’s fault but mine. It’s amazing how true “buyer beware” is.
