"Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Service advisor would not..."
- chowell777Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Service advisor would not answer my calls or return calls. Very unprofessional and problem was not found. Expensive computer was recommended after it had been replaced in the last month. Was still charged $180.00 and told my new computer was corroded. Sent email asking about cost to clean and was told it needed to be replaced to start. Even after I explained it had a new computer installed by mechanic from dodge dealership I was still told it needed another new computer to start. $1300.00 to start seemed crazy to me. I spoke with a mechanic from another dealership and he agreed with me. Looking at the reviews it is no wonder that the service department has a 1.8 out of 5 rating. I was forced to give a one star rating or it would have been lower. I will be contacting the service manager and/or general manager to see if they can make this right.

- steveTo Start Norman and Aaron are outstanding service reps. Always willing and Always helpful, always followed up. Problem is this dealers is way too expensive and they add items not needed. I did agree to everything when they sent me the summary, however before doing that i should have done a little research and gone somewhere else for the items needed. $120 for a brake flush when the brakes and rotors were already off?? $190 to clean the fuel injection system?? $ 50 for shop supplies? I paid $993.99 where i should have paid around $600. I left three messages for the service director on his voicemail and then called again after I texted him. We did speak and I don't think he has done any price comparison. In the last 16 years I have always gone to dealerships and agreed to pay a little more than market value for their services. Being taken to the cleaners is another thing, especially during Covid. Congratulations Crown of Greensboro I'm not coming Back at all. Anyone reading this should double check pricing before just accepting like I did.

- NeverAgainAnother bad experience at Crown Dodge. Had an appointment Monday morning at 9:30 for an oil change and state inspection. Also asked that they check the tow package they installed a few years ago since I tried to use it for the first time recently and there was no power for trailer lights. Showed up a few minutes early and told Shawn (the service assistant) that I would return around lunch if that worked and was told it would be done by then. When we purchased our vehicle here we received 7 years of maintenance and oil change vouchers so this being the 6th year, I was told I was on my last oil change. What!? I was then told that if there was any updates or issues needing attention they would text us. Received a Text saying feel free to text for work status so around noon we did so with no response. Called a half hour later and Shawn told us he would check. A few minutes later he called back and said our car kept getting put aside because there were people in the waiting room waiting on their vehicles to be serviced. I WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF THE SERVICE AREA!!! I walked in and was told my car would be moved to “waiting” and the tech would continue work. So I sat in the lobby for an hour and saw my car get pulled into the service area and they did an alignment (which I was asked about, an extra $90.00). Then my car sat there for another hour untouched. At 3 I went and asked what was going on with my car since no one had been near it in over an hour and Shawn told me I wasn’t able to see my car because it was outside and I just have been watching another similar looking vehicle. I didn’t argue considering I know my car but was told 10 minutes and it would be done. I went back to the waiting area and magically someone went and got into my car and drove it from the inside area to the ready area. I know it was my car because on one side was a white screen to keep sun out of a child’s eyes and on the opposite side is a black one. Shawn straight up lied! A few minutes later, hey your car is ready. 6 hours after I showed up they done the few things needed. I asked about what was wrong with the tow package and was told it needed programming, costing me $149.99. I asked “so y’all never programmed it the first time and now I have to pay once more for y’all’s mistake!?” Shawn began back tracking and told me it had been 2 years since it was installed and they sometimes uninstall themself, lies! I then began to look over my bill and was asked to sign a few papers and tried using several vouchers that came with the maintenance plan and was told I needed to have shown them prior to the work starting. What! So you do shorty work if I use a voucher given by you guys but won’t honor it if not mentioned first!? But you asked about extra work, again straight bs. I was then was rushed out. Once I made it to the car and began looking, they charged me for the oil change that should have been free! Shawn later called and blamed the accounting clerk for the error and refunded the oil change. Now for an even better part of the story. When we purchased the car we were told a tow package was included but when it arrived from Tennessee it wasn’t included so when I asked, we were told “oh no it wasn’t included but we are willing to pay half.” Another con by these folks! Usually when I leave the vehicle it’s horribly slow to have just an oil change or first class finish done. We are in the market to purchase a new vehicle and NEVER again will we do business with them, nor will I ever take a vehicle there for service. Word to the wise, visit High Point or Asheboro it’ll be well worth it.

- mtyer223This dealership is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to. My 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee broke down last year and I had it towed to the dealership. I was then without a vehicle and was not offered a courtesy vehicle for days even though it was covered under warranty. Most of my interactions with the service guy was through text because they would not answer my calls. The texts were not timely and I was often texting them asking for updates which would take them days to respond to. Long story shorter - they kept my jeep for an entire month because they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, took apart my engine and it only had 22K miles on it. Since i needed an extended rental, I repeatedly clarified that my rental car would be covered for that long and Jason confirmed. I returned my rental car early due to me having to leave town for business and at this time Enterprise asked me for payment due to my extended use. I told them that Jason made the reservation and that Jeep was going to cover it. Enterprise and Jeep were right next to each other. Enterprise was unable to get ahold of Jason or any service manager, nor was I. So I ended up being stuck with a $250 bill for my rental car. When I came back into town and picked up my car, Jason told me they had to run it and a lot of miles on it but not more than 100. When I got into my car, there were over 500 miles put on the car (I had taken a picture of the odometer and gas gauge prior to it being towed and the gas tank was full). My gas tank was also empty with 13 miles until empty and all 4 tire pressures were extremely low. When Jason was confronted about this, he said he would get back to me. I had to go to work and did not hear anything back from him. I called the dealership numerous times, asked for managers and still nothing. Over half the times I called, the phone wasnt answered and theres not answering machine. Finally I got ahold of a manager. When I told him about the miles, he said "Oh didnt you authorize the vehicle to be used as a personal vehicle by the mechanics"? I said absolutely not and nor was that ever even mentioned to me. I also told him that Jason lied to my face saying there were less than 100 miles put on it. When told about my tires, the manager said "well sometimes when a car sits for a long time the tire pressures will be low" and i replied "it clearly didnt sit for a long time if you put over 500 miles on it". The car wasnt detailed when I picked it up either, which wasnt a big deal but its usually a professional courtesy. The Manager, Austin, apologized and said that he would get back to me. I emailed him pictures and every receipt I had confirming my case. I NEVER heard back from anyone. I called, emailed, and left Austin voicemails. I was never reimbursed for anything. They ghosted me. This place was the most unprofessional place I had ever seen!!! They also didnt fix my issue! I would never bring my car back here and never will! I also reported them to Jeep Inc.

- tomrawlingsDon't even think about getting service here. I am still waiting to hear from someone about getting minor (under $600) body work done. I received the estimate nearly 2 months ago at this point. No communication at all since then! I have been able to reach someone twice and have been told that they would check into it and someone would get back to me. But no one has. Now, I can't even get the service dept. to pick up the phone! Horrible service!

- ChristaI purchased my vehicle in June of 2017! Ever since I bought it I have had several near death experiences with it cutting off while driving ! When I’ve complained to the service department I have received BS responses, I have done my research it’s a common problem with 2017 Jeep Cherokee Laredo’s and Renegades. I dropped my car off again yesterday as of today nothing and now I’m told won’t know anything until Monday and so sorry no loaner! Apparently I will have to die or get severely injured in my vehicle to get someone to take this seriously and also give good customer service. Shawn was the first person to finally listen to me in the service department so I am grateful for that. If anyone has any advice on who to contact I would greatly appreciate it.

- MiffedThe service department is the worst I have ever encountered. Need something done? STAY AWAY FROM CROWN! You can’t ever get through to anyone if you call It took 3 months to finally get something purchased at closing installed and that was after several attempts on our part to get it scheduled because they never contacted us.

- Ram truck guyBrought my Dodge Ram in for a vibration check. Was charged a $89.99 diagnostic fee which I was told upfront,I agreed. I declined the recommended replacement of both rear U joints at a price of over $500 and the parts cost no more that $20-$50 a piece. Long story short they tried to screw me over on upselling other services also. With a total bill of over $1300. And they charged me a $16.00 shop supplies fee just to put the truck on the lift? I guess It got there floor dirty when it was driven in to the bay. Wasted $113 dollars for nothing. Never agian. Got the job done the same day for less than half what they charge.
