Looking back, I almost bought my Lexus from another dealership. CJ at Lexus of Silver Spring is such a joy to work with when my car needs service that I shudder to think I might not have bout the car from his dealership. He is so courteous and determined to get right everything you need. They are lucky to have him. My prayer is that they keep him so I can continue to not dread having to have the car serviced! "Great Customer Service & Enviroment"

When going in to an appointment or emergency, visit, this dealer ship greets you upon arriving. Although not they’re fault for the unfortunate, their apologetic and reassuring all will be well taken care of. Clean, comfortable waiting areas, fresh coffees, pastries, snacks, water etc. Contingent on the required service, they extend a loaner vehicle for your convenience if needed. Last week I had the first service visit for my new Lexus, purchased in late February. I contacted Chris Cedeno, the sales associate who was so helpful when I was shopping for my new car, and he immediately arranged for me to bring my car in the very next day. Logan Brooks, of the service department, got me signed in quickly, and the 5,000 mile check was completed with no delay. At my request, Chris then very kindly reviewed a few of the features of my car that I was still unsure about how to use. I feel lucky to have such a helpful team--thanks to Chris and Logan.

"Horrendous service"

10k mile service: They called and said it was ready for pick up, however, I still had to wait almost 2 hours once I arrived which is ridiculous. I had to take off work for this and it is extremely inconvenient when I have to wait for an additional 2 hrs after service was supposedly complete already. Why would you call the customer to let them know the car is ready? It took them almost 4 hours for a simple service. They kept giving me excuses and the run around as to why it wasnt ready. 15k mile service: I was leary of another service appointment at location due to my last experience and I was right. I was told over the phone when I scheduled the appointment that service would be 1 hr if I waited around car wash included. I was told upon my arrival for service that it would take 2 hours with the wash and 1 hr 15 min without the wash. I had my 1 yr old with me so any additional time and last minute change in plans don't work with her schedule and our plans. Then I was told my back tires are larger than the front so they cant do a tire rotation which is the entire purpose of the 15k mile service. Why wasnt this info in the system when I scheduled this appointment? The service manager blamed it on the Rockville call center and mentioned that it's something they're trying to work on. As a customer, I could care less where and whom I spoke to and where its's located. This was a waste of time and the lack of communication at this location doesnt exist. The employees never act like they care or take any responsibility for their crappy service.

Our appointments run between 1.5 - 2 hours. Very rarely are cars in and out in less than an hour for scheduled maintenance. Again, we apologize

I have no problem with a longer service time but there is no communication between the store and the appointment team in Rockville. your appointment team needs extra training to provide customers with accurate information. You are essentially doubling the time they provided and wasting customers time. On top of that, I made an appointment unneccessarily since no one was aware that my tires couldn't even be rotated until the day of.

Kudos to Mike Murphy and the service team at Lexus of Silver Spring. I purchased my car 16 years ago from Mike Murphy, who at the time was salesman but shortly thereafter became a service service manager representative. I can't say enough for the level of professionalism and commitment that Mike has for customer service. He is always readily accessible and has provided clear and instructive maintenance recommendations and has been particularly helpful in resolving service issues; sensitivity to financial and time constraints. He understands relationship management and the importance of inspiring trust,competence and respect for his customers. He understands the long game.
