I have been coming to this dealer when I have had Volvo's off/on for over 10 years. Jimmy Wong has always provided great and pleasant service. He is very flexible with arrangements to meet my schedules, is very accessible by phone and responsive to E-mails, and keep me up to date through the service. Scheduling is very easy and the car is always ready and clean when promised.

This is hands down the worst service I have ever received. Car was not ready when promised. I was told car was ready and it was not when I showed up, was not washed as promised and estimate went from 0...we are happy to take a look to 170 bucks. Don't say you were not warned!

"Great service and Friendly Personnel at 355 Volvo ...!"

Hi Tom, Trusting that your Thanksgiving holiday was restful and peaceful. As usual, my service visit was pleasant and productive. I was 100% satisfied with my service consultation and plans for resolution of my issues. I always like having the opportunity to speak with you prior to bringing my car in for service, which allows me to determine the level of severity of the problem. Should I drive in or have the car towed in or whatever. Thanks for your warm welcome, reassuring smiles, service explanations and options, the coupon discount and all you do to make my visit pleasant. After the service diagnostics test, Roberto comes out with a smile and greetings. Then he opens up the print -outs which shows the test results which indicate sensor # 4 is the one most in need of being replaced. I also learned there are four sensors,-two in front and two in the back. So we agreed to replace one at this time. As always, I always enjoy that Haroon takes time from his busy routine to chat with me about the weather, my car and its problems ( smiles). He is always knowledgeable about my car and the options for service and repairs. I continue to feel very comfortable with bringing my car to 355 Volvo because I have confidence in the service repairs and the service personnel who is always available to answer questions and to provide any accommodation possible. I missed seeing Regina this time but was greeted nicely by the porters and other personnel. Mr. Bijan always has a great smile and greeting and seems the happiest when he is busy! To top off the great service, my car is returned to me clean and shiny inside and out! See you one day next week to have that sensor installed! G. Knox

Good evening It's with great pleasure to comment on my last visit and previous visit to Darcars Volvo. I own a 2004 C70 Volvo and I will not trust any repairs and or inspections to any dealership but Darcars. My experience from the moment I pull up to the moment I pull out has been exceptional. I can always expect to be treated with respect. The quality of service has has been ?outstanding. Mr. Thomas Mangum is second to none in providing customer service and overall assistance each time I've had to bring my vehicle in. He has always provided the utmost professionalism and respect and complete knowledge in explaining services necessary for my vehicle. Darcars Volvo is well known to many of my friends because I always share my experience and my complete satisfaction of the service I receive from your Darcars. Although I live in Upper Marlboro, I will continue to bring my vehicle to Darcars Volvo in Rockville via Mr. Thomas Mangum! "Service Department will not listen to what I say"

The service department was bent on replacing a DIM module when the instrument cluster went out. They had already replaced the CEM module and told them that it only goes out when it rains. They do not listen and insist that the DIM module needs to be replaced. Think that I replaced the CEM module for no reason since it is the exact same symptoms. Working with VOLVO directly and getting a second opinion. That was the last time that I will go to their dealership. It was sucking a lot of money each time.

I definitely recommend DARCARS Volvo, especially since Alexander Arman returned as General Manager. I got my first car there in 2000, and a second car for my spouse in 2003 (it was a deal I couldn’t pass up). The dealership won my trust and I had my cars serviced there, even after I moved to Springfield. This is mostly due to Alexander Arman’s most gracious, customer service, the best I had ever experienced at any dealership. He clearly understands the importance of trust and makes sure that his sales and service personnel give the same customer service as he does. When he left the dealership a few years back, it wasn’t quite the same. Lucky for me, while I was trying to decide whether I should take my S60 to Darcars for a new timing belt, water pump, etc., I checked yelp reviews and found the recent reviews for Darcars were very high and one reviewer mentioned Alexander was back. My decision was made. For anyone who has ever had the pleasure to buy or service a volvo while Alexander was GM, they know why.

I was promised a set of winter floor mats by the salesman who sold me my XC80 last May, to be retrieved in winter. The salesman has since left Rockville, but Alexander, the manager, gracefully and willingly gave me the promised floor mats without any questions. I really appreciated his recognizing my honesty. I will continue to do business with him and use its services.
