Sometimes what seems like a simple repair can often times be deceiving in terms of labor hours. In order to change out the headlight on your vehicle several other parts had to be taken out and put back. Our dealership enjoys a fine reputation in the community for customer service and satisfaction. While Mazda Corporation did cover the engine replacement on your RX-8, the work done prior to that was not covered under the warranty. Your vehicle was at our facility for 6 months and incurred a storage fee only after you did not satisfy your debt and pick up the vehicle when the work on it was completed. The storage fee charged was $1,575, not $3,300.
