Steve was awesome! My Explorer was taken back as soon as I got there. I was having an oil changed and they even found a nail in my tire and were able to patch it. I’m here again to address a situation that since I bought this truck back in July and 5 days later start to have issues. This truck was sold by the Ford dealer and on their selling paperwork states that it w this truck back in July and 5 days later start to have issues. This truck was sold by the Ford dealer and on their selling paperwork states that it was inspected and certified that it was a NO Issues vehicle. In less than 500 miles to the truck the radiator breaks and 2 days later the water pump failed too. Both were replaced by Port Richey Ford due to the timeframe of this vehicle sell and use . Since the radiator was fix I mentioned to the service advisor (Frank Johnson ) that the truck had a tic sound that for my knowledge was not normal. They repair the truck radiator on the first visit and on the second the water pump and on both occasions I repeat to mention the ticking sound on idle but nothing was mention of an existing problem or future one. I haven’t use this truck as much and I decide to to continue research an compare to another’s F-150 with the same configuration and a Ford mechanic diagnosed it is the chain either stretch or the cam phasers. Something that on the first repair of the radiator I also print a service bulletin about the symptoms and noises that are the same of my truck. I place my trust on Ford trading a truck that I didn’t had any issues for 7 year to buy this one that is 10 years more newer that my last. This is unacceptable and it need to be address responsibly. I have the repair record that in every one I state about the noise on idle and in both the dealer look the other way . What are they going to do to make this right and if a vehicle is on sale at least tell the buyer that the vehicle have issues and mark it below price both the other way . More
