I had been to another local dealer the day before and could not find a deal on a truck that fit my budget. I test drove the truck and had a deal within 30 minutes. The truck has been exactly what they said it was and I am very happy with my purchase. John even went out of his way to try and find the second set of keys for the vehicle and contacted a local locksmith to have them made for me. Overall, I would definitely go back to them for another vehicle. They were honest, straight to the point, and fast at getting my deal done. Thanks again for the awesome experience. Side note- Lauren Foster was who I called the day before about a couple trucks and did not pressure me into coming in, but set up a time for me to come see a few vehicles on my schedule. I came in the next day and saw her first and she directed me to John. She was great! Finance manager Alesia was outstanding. she made the worst part (paperwork) enjoyable. I bought the car and found the entire experience to be pleasurable and reasonably quick and efficient. Would work with Brent and the dealership again. More
Great salesman helped me but finance dept disappointed me I had never owned a Toyota before so this was a brand new experience for me. I owned a Nissan for the past 10 years and ended up buying 3 more Nissan I had never owned a Toyota before so this was a brand new experience for me. I owned a Nissan for the past 10 years and ended up buying 3 more Nissan cars for my children all from the same dealership. Car shopping is hard enough so when you find a good dealership it's easy to purchase again and again. My experience here at Fred Andersen was a bit different. My salesman Rodney Lewis was a delight to work with. Initially I gave him a dollar figure I needed to be at and the initial payment was way higher than I wanted. Rodney kept going to bat for me and finally we were within $40 of my initial budget. I really loved the car so I decided to spend the extra $40. That's where my great experience ended even though at the moment I didn't realize it. When I came home with the car my husband was away so he didn't see the car or my paperwork for a couple of days. Well when he looked over the paperwork he noticed something that I didn't. I was paying $2700 for extended mileage on my warranty that Eddie Nutall added to my contract paperwork that represented mileage that Eddie said he would add to my warranty. Eddie NEVER mentioned to me that I would be charged for it. Did I initial the paperwork? Yes I did. After spending 5 hours at the dealership I was exhausted. Eddie explained to me all the signatures page by page but he NEVER explained to me that the "extra" miles he was so kindly giving me were actually costing me $2700. That right there was my extra $40 in my payment that Eddie knew I was not happy doing. I know that Eddie took advantage of my fatigue and the fact that I am a woman who probably would not notice the additional charges. Shame on him for doing that to me because not only did he make me feel stupid and taken advantage of but he also lost a customer that will not recommend the dealership to a friend and I will not be a return customer. Like I stated earlier I am an easy repeat customer when I am treated with respect and treated fairly. I recently spoke with another past customer and I told her what happened to me and she said she heard that the dealership has a reputation for doing this so she said she and her husband were ready for it when it was presented to them. I now have a car I love from a dealership that as my children would say is "sketchy". My husband explained to me how dealerships make a decent amount of money on these warranties. Shame on Fred Andersen Toyota and shame on Eddie Nutall for disappointing a new buyer. I am very sad that I will have to spend the next couple years dealing with this dealership until I sell or trade in my car but when I am ready to trade it won't be at this dealership. More
