Went to this dealership to purchase a new vehicle. While the overall purchasing experience was very pleasant, I am not totally satisfied with their communication. I opted to use in-house financing for my purchase. After authorizing the dealership to check into my financing, I received a phone call the next day with the financing options from three different financiers. While it seemed as though the dealership should have had a better idea of who could make the best financing offer without making that many checks, I let that go and chose the financing option I wanted. Now, one week after purchasing my vehicle, I see that there are SIX (not three) hard inquires on my credit report and that my credit score has been reduced by 20 points. I already had a high amount of inquiries so this is a relatively low impact. If someone with only 2 or 3 inquiries were to receive 6 in one day, the impact on their score would be much higher. While I would recommend this dealership, I would NOT recommend their financing department as they seem to have an overall lack of communication with the customer. I did not expect so many inquiries on my credit and I would not have approved it if I had been asked. More
