At another dealer the sales representative didn't even know who I was, so Center Subaru started off well. As soon as I walked in I noticed that Center Subaru donated thousands of dollars to the local YMCA. Philanthropy is important to me and I have great respect for such behavior. Tracy showed me the Outback everything from the serpentine belt to the touch screen navigation. After test driving I knew this was the car for me. Tracy did an excellent job working with me to get the car. When it came to getting the car as quickly as possible Greg Shenas was a huge help. He walked me through the forms for insurance and payment plans. I knew exactly what was required. I really enjoyed the level of detail that Greg explained the different aspects of the process. Having a lot of information allowed me to make as educated decision as possible. When I finally got the car it was Tracy who gave me the screws to attach the license plates. I would recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru to go to Center Subaru in Torrington. I know when I am ready and have saved enough to buy a new car this will be the place I will purchase that new Subaru. More

Luckily I found it right away, looking at the other cars merely to keep my options open. The staff was very professional and quick to help me through the process. This was my first time buying a car, and I had many expectations about getting the run-around from the salesman. Luckily, this was not the case, as the salesman I was paired with identified right away that I knew what I wanted and wanted it as soon as possible. He both rushed me through the process so that I was driving off the lot in the span of a single weekend, but also took the time to carefully explain all of the features of the papers, warranties and the car itself so there would be no surprises. After the first 5000 miles I am convinced this is the best car I or anyone in my family as ever owned, and I thank the Center Subaru staff for matching me so easily with my new partner on the road. "Welcomed with open arms" My back was against a wall needing a new car ASAP and Joe Kolosky and Center Subaru pulled me out of that corner and welcomed me with open arms. Just to start there was no pressure from any salesperson the moment I entered the door which gave me time to start looking around to get a feel for sticker prices and models. I suppose eventually after looking around I kind of had those lost looking eyes and someone immediately asked with what I may need help with which is great they gave me space until they felt I needed that help. I was ushered to a salesmans desk where I met Joe Kolosky. From the start I felt this was a person I could connect with and relate to. He first showed and made me aware of the dealerships waiting area where they had chairs of many types and a couple sofas surrounding a nice cozy fireplace. It was like sitting in your own cozy living room and for me the best part was free coffee and internet all the coffee I could drink lol. Long story short if I was waiting I was happy and waiting lol. Getting down to business and the scary part of buying a car for many the credit checks and financing and mountain of paperwork. Having checked my credit score prior online I knew where I stood and it was just below good credit so I was a little nervous. Joe assured me it doesn't hurt to apply and sometimes things aren't as bad as we think and he was right coming back to show me my credit was indeed good and almost 100 points higher than what I thought. GREAT! Picking a car was really straight forward I was able to give him the things I was looking for nothing more nothing less and he was able to find that car for me without pushing a bunch of extras I didn't need. The whole process was really streamlined even down to the paperwork to keep things simple and easy. As far as buying a car it was the best experience I have ever had doing so and by far the best dealership I have ever set foot in all wrapped in a Lifetime Warranty! The best part of this whole experience for me though was meeting Joe Kolosky. Himself and the dealership work extended hours sometimes above and beyond the 8-9 PM threshold so when Joe called me that late at night to let me know my approval just went through I knew he had a long day worked hard and worked that long and hard on my behalf. The human element of this experience cannot be overstated it was second to none and I feel a better person for meeting and knowing Joe and the rest of the folks at Center Subaru and hope this is the start of a long and wonderful relationship. More
