To whom it may concern,
Today I called Glens Falls Toyota to have a key cut for my 2005 Toyota Corolla. I have purchased (2) aftermarket keys on E bay. I spoke with Heather in service as I was unable to reach the Parts Dept. as the answering service stated leave a message ( Not the best policy). Heather was very helpful, however, she advised me that the Dealership will not cut aftermarket keys. I purchased the car new at GF Toyota and it has been an awesome vehicle, however, the key is starting to wear down. I have the new key code tag and I understand that if the key did not work it would be my responsibility, but, I guess that does not matter. I worked as a Service Advisor for 23 years and have seen decisions such as this made by management that are absolutely dumb founding. Note to Management.... It's the little things that make huge differences. Remember it is easier to retain a customer than it is to get them back in the fold after they have gone elsewhere.
