Part of the purchase agreement on my Highlander included an update to the Navigation software. The update was done quickly and in a very timely manner. I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the pleasant waiting room.
Everything was fine until it was time to collect my car and leave.
The service adviser presented me with a bill for several hundred dollars. Although my bill of sale clearly stated that the update was included in the purchase price, that information didn't make it onto the service order.
It only took a few minites to straighten out the situation, but I was embarassed as I stood there waiting for the situation to be resolved by the Sales Manager. It was clear that my word wasn't good enough, and the bill of sale that was in the car was never looked at. Otherwise, everything was great.
