Purchased a pre owned Range Rover from Hardy bought online using just the photos and the word of the sales team who assured it was in great condition. The car arrived in far from great condition. There online using just the photos and the word of the sales team who assured it was in great condition. The car arrived in far from great condition. There was a front end repair that was not disclosed. The trim panels had been repaired in subpar condition the headlights had been burned from what looks like a poor polish the paint needed total correction as the hood was a different color in direct sunlight. Currently the car has spent more time in repair shops getting these things fixed than on the road. Multiple attempts were made to the dealership to offset their wrong doing including sending photos that were requested by the sales manager Clay only to go weeks with no response. I would HIGHLY advise not doing business with Hardy Chevrolet. More

They installed a water hose on my truck. It was not oem but high quality gates brand. It was not installed properly and popped off soon afterwards while I was pulling a camper. Lost all coolant very quickl but high quality gates brand. It was not installed properly and popped off soon afterwards while I was pulling a camper. Lost all coolant very quickly and truck ran hot. It cost $7000.00 to repair and they refused to take any responsibility. By the way the I reattached the hose Properly and after 8000 miles it has not popped off. Never will go back to Hardy in Gainesville. More

My 70 year old and perfectly capable mother went alone to this dealership to get a simple oil change based on an advertised sale price she found online. The very next day, I was driving the car and the check this dealership to get a simple oil change based on an advertised sale price she found online. The very next day, I was driving the car and the check engine light came on. I went to AutoZone to find out what code was showing for this alert, and found out that it was an alert for the air filter sensor. When she returned her vehicle to the same dealership, the air filter sensor had magically been broken and needed to be replaced. They charged her a diagnostic fee even after she agreed to have the work done there, which I've never heard of in my life. Anytime I have gone to a dealership, I've never had to pay the diagnostic fee because it has been waived when I agree to have the work done at that dealership. Not only did they charge her the diagnostic fee, she was told that she would not have to pay for the part, and then ended up being charged for the part after all. After her experience, she called me to tell me what happened and when I called the dealership to confirm exactly what had happened, I spoke with the person who handled her car, and he called me "hun" then proceeded to incorrectly describe what happens when you remove the air filter. Since he had called me "hun", I guess he thought I would not have a clue what he was talking about. I didn't bother correcting him or telling him that, as an auto damage adjuster for 12 years, I could tell if he was lying to me. I'm all for paying a bill when you owe it, but when you are told you will get certain discounts and then those discounts are not provided, that speaks poorly to the customer service provided, and if you don't intend on charging what you say you are going to charge, you should just keep your mouth shut. I will never send my vehicle to this dealership for service again. While I'm sure they are wonderful at selling cars, they clearly only have loyalty to those who have purchased a vehicle at their lot, so I guess you're in good hands if you have bought your car from them and need it serviced. If not, definitely go somewhere else... unless you like being called "hun" by total strangers. And when an employee sees my mother paying and says, "Oh wow, a customer!" I guess that should have tipped her off to grab her keys and run for the hills. More
