Vehicle was left with them for a hood latch repair on February 9th, after 7 days I was called and informed on February 16th that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Picked up the vehicle February 17th February 9th, after 7 days I was called and informed on February 16th that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Picked up the vehicle February 17th to find cosmetic damages to the vehicle and the trunk left open while parked outside on their lot in the rain. Spoke to the service director DONALD HOOKS who blamed the age of the vehicle for the damage done while in their car, he was nice enough to quote me a price to fix this damage. During our conversation Mr Hooks was very condescending and sounded incredulous at my audacity wasting his time with such a trivial matter on an old vehicle, ( he repeated numerous times how old the vehicle is). Well after many years, numerous vehicles and thousands of dollars spent at this location he can take solace in the fact that this will be the very LAST visit, I will not be wasting his time further on such trivial things such as the dealership damaging my vehicle while it was there….as he kept the repeating “ the vehicle is old”. This has happened before at this location so I have learned to take pictures when the vehicle is left there, I suggest others leaving their vehicles here do the same. This review is not so much about the cost to fix the cosmetic damage done to the vehicle but the response from the service manager Donald Hooks. More

I had a horrible experience with Hilton Head BMW trying to purchase a used X3. I used their online accleride system to see if a vehicle was available and was told that it was by two different people, I ev to purchase a used X3. Since I was purchasing this from out of town, I purchased an airplane ticket to fly in and pick up the vehicle and drive it home. The salesperson knew that I was going to do that. After I did that I receved a call from him stating that someone was at the dealership now purchasing that car. All he said was that he was sorry, I thought we had a deal. I called the sales manager to complain and he gave me a different story saying that what the sales person told me wasn't correct and that car had been sold 3 days ago. So either the dealership has no idea what's going on with their inventory or they're lieing. The sales manager told me to forward him my receipt for my plane ticket to see what he could do to help me. I did that, and over 2 weeks later I have not heard from anybody. I have bought a lot of cars in my life and never had such a horrible experience with a dealership. More

She was my eyes of the car, negotiated on my behalf, answered questions, picked me up at the airport, and even made sure I had water & full tank for my long ride home. Shortly after purchasing my M3 (out of state) I had an airbag restraint system malfunction appear. I wanted to take it to the dealership to run a diagnostic as well as a general inspection to make sure ev airbag restraint system malfunction appear. They had me drop it off on a Friday and told me they had an “M specialist” coming in to run an update because they weren’t comfortable messing with it. On Monday I had a voicemail from the dealership asking to touch base because after investigation they recommended an entire computer module replacement due to an after market tune they believed was responsible for the issue. They estimated between 3-4 grand for the replacement. I told them I was not aware of any tunes on the car and wanted a second opinion because something felt off. When we asked to speak to this “specialist” we were told it was actually a collaborative effort and charged me 150-160 for the time spent investigating. I took it to ASM BMW in Savannah, and Alex was phenomenal. Within an hour he was able to telll it was a simple airbag sensor failure and there was no tune on the car. He fixed it within a day and charged a fraction of the price. I would caution customers to do their research and listen to your gut if something feels off More
