On a recent golf trip to Hilton Head from Miami, we stopped at the McDonalds next to the Dealership for lunch. When we got into our car to leave, it was dead! Nothing was working. I noticed Hodges Ford was on the same exit and we walked over to see if we could get help. Lucy Younce was behind the service desk and without hesitation she had a technician walk over to our car and jump start it.
We drove it back to the dealership where they proceeded to run diagnostic tests on the battery and alternator. We were panicked because we were already late . After about 10 minutes Lucy came up to me with a printout indicating that everything was good and that we had a very loose connection on our battery. They cleaned and tightened the connection and brought us the car. NO CHARGE!
Are you serious? I would have bought a new battery in a heartbeat and probably an alternator too.
She refused to accept money for the service and even the technicians would not take a penny for their efforts. Needless to say we were incredibly grateful and very impressed. My car is not even a Ford lol.
