I purchased a Forest River travel trailer from Holman Motors as an out of state buyer. Art in sales was fantastic to work with, very easy and seamless transaction at a competitive price. Due to weather conditions and time of year of the purchase, Holman held my camper over a month without issue. I was treated excellent and Holman GMC was able to get my tow vehicle in for an oil change will I did my orientation on the camper. I couldn't be more happy with how Holman treated me throughout the entire process and I will look to Holman the next time I need to buy a travel trailer. More

Extremely disappointed in the ethics and policy of this company. I was told a rate and terms and agreed to it in good faith only to find out they sent my information to a bank that I couldnt even get a loa company. I was told a rate and terms and agreed to it in good faith only to find out they sent my information to a bank that I couldnt even get a loan for (credit union in OH and I live in KY). Instead of making it right, they offered me a much higher interest rate and requested money down (almost a 10k difference from the deal I agreed to). On top of that, they laughed at and hung up on us when we argued the ethics of this. Now, my credit score has been affected by 20 points due to them shopping my score around and no deal. Buyer beware! More

Let me start this story by saying I was planning to buy my first car ever at this dealer My experience with this dealer has been a complete nightmare. Let me start this story by saying I was planning to buy my first car ever at this dealership and had no prior experience buying a car. This horror show started, June 9th when I saw a posting for a $6140 car I was interested in. I called to see if the car was available to test drive. The price after my phone call changed to $6254. Despite this, I gave the dealer the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. I went to test drive the vehicle twice, once on June 17th and once more on the 20th. The first time I went to test drive the vehicle I noticed a huge dent that had not been captured in the photos online. The dealer confirmed the damage had been done on the lot, it was their responsibility and told me the vehicle would go to the body shop that Friday (June 19th). I also noticed the car didn't seem to be maintained at all, Yet, despite this I told him I was interested in buying. The second visit (June 20th), I noticed the car was not fixed and was not in the shop. The dealer told me it would be sent Monday. Monday (June 22nd) I called to see if the vehicle was in the body shop because I was interested in buying it and needed to know its availability to take it for a pre-purchase inspection. The dealer informed me that they wouldn't put any work in the vehicle until they knew all the maintenance that needed to be done on it. Stupidly instead of walking away, I went that Wednesday (June 24th) to my scheduled pre-purchase inspection. It was the soonest my mechanic could squeeze me in. I went only to find out this vehicle has been sitting on the lot for ages, never was maintained during that time, didn't have a working emergency brake, some of the safety lights were broken and a few other minor issues. I went back to the dealership and shared my mechanic's report with them letting them know that the car was not entirely safe to drive. They told me they would have the issues fixed and put it in the body shop. I waited 5 business days for a maintenance report and heard nothing. The dealer originally told me the car would be ready Tuesday(June 30th) or Wednesday(July 1st) which was generously a week after inspection. I cleared my schedule that week to make another trip down to get the car. Wednesday I called to ask about the maintenance because I needed a car before the holiday. They told me it wasn't going to be finished till Friday. When I asked to talk to a manager, the manager rudely told me they had other vehicles in the shop that were priority, they had to order parts and it was my fault the body work wasn't done sooner because I had taken so long to do the pre-purchase inspection. July 3rd, late afternoon before close, I was notified they had finished maintenance. I notified the dealer that due to the holiday, I was not readily available to wrangle a ride down to Cincinnati to get the car inspected again. He seemed to understand. July 7th the dealer called me angry I had not come down to purchase the vehicle. "We have done everything you've asked. What will it take for you to buy this car?" I communicated to him again, that my availability was limited that week as was my mechanic. He tried to convince me I didn't need another pre-purchase inspection. Shaken and very upset at this point, I turned this idea down. Thursday night (July 9th) I went online to the listing to get the address for the trip down, only to see the price for the vehicle had shot up to $6998, which was several hundred dollars above the Kelly Blue Book fair market price range for the vehicle. During my week and a half waiting for maintenance to get finished, I had shopped around and discovered other dealerships that didn't seem to have an attitude towards me and sold the same car in much better condition for much less. Suffice to say, I did not buy the car. At the end of the day it feels good to know my money (no matter how little it is compared to a larger priority sale) went to a deserving dealer and not Holman Motors. Please learn from my mistakes and don't shop here. More

Purchased a Sierra 1500 Denali Truck May 2020. Salesman was very knowledgeable and courteous. Negotiations were what you would expect. I had a hard time agreeing to an item they call “PULSE” it’s a flashin was very knowledgeable and courteous. Negotiations were what you would expect. I had a hard time agreeing to an item they call “PULSE” it’s a flashing brake light but he explained it was on all vehicles they sell do to it becoming a mandatory safety item in the future!(xxxxxxxx). “PULSE” already on it sorry. We negotiated final price approx 18% discount off MSRP. told them I had my own financing at 1.98% and would have a check tomorrow for them. They asked me to do financing with them for 1.98% rate match and I agreed (mistake on my part). Waited approx 1.5 hrs for finance guy. Now I realize if people ahead of me I wait no problem but the person ahead of me was out of the office for 40 min before I was brought in. How do I know. I was watching the guy. Finally I get asked in and knew he was a xxxxxxx right off. He make stupid fast small talk and the starts talking payments which are well above agreed upon purchase price. I ask what is the sale price of vehicle you are using? It was $2000+ over the agreed upon price because he was courteous enough to add in an extended warranty I didn’t ask for or want! He removes it and I ask to see estimate sheet and he has moved interest rate to 2.35% not 1.98% tries to compare it to a mortgage interest rate vs APR. In my case it is irrelevant because I’ll pay the truck off but I should have just told him to give me bill of sale and returned next day with the check just on principle alone. The finance man was rude, inconsiderate and an embarrassment to the organization. Strong words right a little hard on the finance guy you think, I asked a question on breakdown he was unable or unwilling to answer the question and he commented, why do you care if the bottom number is what you agreed upon! Finished my review of paperwork figured out the answer to my own question and signed the documents. After signing, expecting for him to ask for the over 20k check I was putting down as agreed upon and he just says as he is putting paperwork in a folder we are done! I say ok and walk out laughing to myself! Sales man sees me and approaches and explains they are still detailing my new truck.i wait another 20 min and salesman brings me to my truck and explains a few features. I wanted to just leave and let the finance guy sweat it out on the check missing when the controller figures out he never asked for the down payment. But I looked at the salesman told him his finance guy was an xxxxxx (he was not surprised by my comment) and handed him my down payment check. He said oh... he never asked for this! Nope and the only reason I’m doing this is so nobody pulls you into his incompetence by saying you should of asked for it! Recommendation... bring your own financing to this dealership!I drive home my sons excited over new truck and I ask him to check out this “PULSE” feature! Non existent ! Ok I’ll bring it up with them tomorrow. I go back and find salesman explain no “PULSE” on vehicle he confirms it and goes to his manager. He comes back and says he never agreed to put it on. I say you told me it was already on the truck! That’s why fee was there. He goes back to the manager and comes back saying that’s how we got to final number by not adding it!!!! Not what we agreed upon! I expressed my displeasure with the resolution and left. Dealership Stand by your word if you don’t you are nothing. ( I would have asked for it on the owed slip during signing if I knew it wasn’t already installed like I was told)This is second reason for this review! If you decide to buy a vehicle here and you hear this “PULSE” charge or anything like it adamantly oppose this charge for me..... it’s garbage.I wish it was a better review for the dealership but it’s not. The salesman Daniel was a good guy just doing what he’s told no hard feeling against him. I hope Holman Motors owner sees this and corrects the dealerships problems for future customers. Our salesman was friendly and talkative, he kept reminding us that they sell 180 units a month on average but somewhat clueless about the products he represented. After the sale he didn't remember who we were and it took a while for him to rember us. The service department rep contacted me about picking up the RV and was very courteous at that time. Upon arrival I found the camper was not equipped with the options we had paid for nor was it detailed as promised , when I asked the rep he got defensive about the situation and was very rude, his comment was he had 100 customers as well as every other rep in service so how could he remember who was who. When I confronted the salesman he said they weren't supposed to talk to service, he wasn't willing to help. After waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes and treated like a imposition I left the lot and will not be going back. More
