Frustrating! I would love to give this a 5 star but I am beyond frustrated. My daughters 2014 CRV has been into the shop twice for the same thing- a strange geari I would love to give this a 5 star but I am beyond frustrated. My daughters 2014 CRV has been into the shop twice for the same thing- a strange gearing noise upon a cold start. The first time - nothing was said to me just that they didn't hear it. The second time - the gentlemen told me they knew what it was but they cannot fix it because Honda will not guarantee the work (which is still warrantied) until hard proof is provided. I googled the compliant and come to find out - its very common issue with the CRV-the Actuator. I have described the noise to a tee. The frustrating thing is the first time - the man said nothing and now the car is 1900 miles from the end of the warranty and this cold weather issue isn't happening as often in June but Honda will not fix it. I have taken it in twice and called another few times asking questions - I always told them it wasn't regular but that when it was cold it was worse. Duh! They knew this. I feel like I have been taken advance of and I am so disappointed. I just think this is unethical and wrong. Fix the car. Don't get me wrong - i get that this is Honda issue and Honda of Fife is the vendor but it's just wrong. The service gentlemen was kind and helpful this time. It's a crappy situation and wrong. More

Interesting car-buying experience I recently purchased my second automobile from Honda of Fife. My first automobile was purchased new in 2004 and it was traded in for a CR-V EXL. I recently purchased my second automobile from Honda of Fife. My first automobile was purchased new in 2004 and it was traded in for a CR-V EXL. The CR-V is great and all the bells and whistles are turning out to be very useful - especially the back-up camera. It is easy to drive and I really like it which is good as I keep my cars for a long time. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the overall experience with the sales person. I didn't feel I was listened to when I tried to communicate what I wanted in a car and when I was negotiating the price. It would have been so much better if the amount of trade in, payments, financing, etc., were discussed BEFORE the test drive. I pushed back and got a price that fits my terms and budget, but it was a very stressful experience I don't want to repeat. On the other hand, the Service Department at Honda of Fife is great - they did all of the service on my previous automobile, and I will go there for all the service on my new one . PS: The gentleman (Bill?) who ties the balloons on the car and makes an announcement over the loudspeaker is so sweet - a real asset to the dealership! More
