"Liars and crooks"

- jamie.rellinger

By FAR the WORST experience in customer service I have ever experienced in any industry. I am a disabled veteran and I 100% believe they tried to take advantage of me. I called about my Sonata not starting this morning. Verified that I had a 100000 mile warranty and that a starter was covered. Was told yes on both counts. Great! When is your next appointment? 7:30pm? Not going to work. So I went spent $60 to have my car towed to Cartersville. They tell me that a starter is not covered. I call back to Kennesaw to ask about it and they literally tell me, "I don't know who would have told you that but not my problem." REALLY!? if that is not a 'Bait and switch' then I don't know what is. This service department is a bunch of crooks who knew I would go elsewhere if I was told it wasn't covered so they told me it was to lure me in. I will NEVER go back and I will NEVER buy another Hyundai. Oh, and I called Hyundai corporate to see what they would do about a company representing their name blatantly LYING to their customers... "Nothing we can do, sorry." I cant believe that a national company would carry themselves with such a disregard for customer service. Avoid this dealership at all costs, and don't buy a Hyundai at all if you can help it.

"1.5 to 2 hours for and oil change?!"

- Jeff S.

Called yesterday regarding coming in for an oil change, and they said just drive in and we will take care of you. Waited at the desk over 10 minutes, before being acknowledged by an associate passing by. Others sitting and staring at their computers, and the one that was helping a customer was busy upselling filters and flushes to an unsuspecting young disabled man. You should be ashamed! Anyway, the kind young lady that finally asked me if I had been helped, said about an hour and a half to two hours for an oil change. Mine are supposed to be free for life, but when it takes up to two hours of my time, that's not free - it's about $200. Even though they are supposedly free, I'll be paying for my oil changes from now on in Cartersville - in and out in 25 minutes! With a sales team that's top notch at customer service, how does ownership allow the service area to be so poorly managed? I'll probably buy elsewhere next time due to this service.

"Non-Existent Customer Service"

- creekview

After waiting 10 days for an appointment, I arrive at my scheduled time and there is 1 customer being helped; 5 service techs standing around ignoring me. No welcome, we'll be with you in a minute comment just silence. Finally I say I have an appointment. Then they respond we'll be with you soon. Then I overhear they are helping "walk-in customers BEFORE customers who have made an appointments. Everyone leaves the front desk for about 10 minutes; I wait. Finally 1 guy returns and checks me in. The only nice guy there was Darius the shuttle car driver. Everyone else rude. Service process very disorganized. Apparently service techs have to check you in on the computer than hand-carry the request to a mechanic. No use of cell phones, texts, emails etc to connect with Mechanics or Shuttle Drivers. Later when I returned for my vehicle it wasn't ready ... more wait time. Worst service at a Hyundai dealer ever.

"poor service department"

- happytan35

have brought my 2013 elantra in for servicing numerous times for rear brake light keeps going out. Was under warranty they said they couldn't find anything wrong why this keeps happening. Never get called with an update, I always have to call them. Trying to get someone to answer the service department is a joke! Finally had to bring my car back b/c brake light went out again now they say they found a short and they fixed it. We shall see if they did. My warranty will be up in 2,000 miles I just don't trust this dealership. It definitely feels like they don't try to look for the problem so you come back and spend your $$$ when the warranty expires. They don't put the customer first. This place needs an overhaul and some good people to come in and show this company how to treat their customers right and be honest and fix the problems the first time.

"Scam artists"

- bnhopkins

I have owned a 2012 Hyundai Sonata for 2 years and during that time have replaced the battery 3 times. Clearly, there is some sort of power draw going on which kills the battery. On 3 different occasions while it was still under warranty, I brought the car into Hyundai of Kennesaw to check for a power draw . Each time they checked out the electrical system but were not able to find the cause. On the service order dated 12/9/16 they wrote "Performed current draw test no draw on system causing battery to die. Normal operation at this time will have to return with problem occuring to diag further." I expressed concern that the warranty would soon be up on the vehicle and I would like to have the problem resolved before that. I was told not to worry because they would be able to look back on the service record and see that the electrical problem occurred well before the warranty expired. I trusted that was true. I returned on 2/20/17 with the same problem. After 2 days they called and said that they were unable to perform a draw test without reinstalling the remote start key fob which would cost $650. How did they perform a draw test the other 3 times? No one could give me a satisfactory explanation. The vehicle has been out of warranty for a week. I am afraid they have been stalling addressing the issue just so that they could charge me for repairs, I declined to have to accept their service and pay the $650. Still I had to pay $125 for a diagnostic charge. I took the vehicle to another shop and was told that Hyundai of Kennesaw was definitely trying to rip me off. If I have had the problem checked out 3 times with no successful results while it was under warranty, why are they wanting to charge me $650 now and tell me a while new story? I will see them in small claims court.

"Terrible"

- Amy F

I have purchased four total cars from this dealer. My most recent was a brand new 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited SE in May of 2016. Since then I have had numerous mechanical problems resulting in unsafe driving conditions for me and my family. I have taken my vehicle to Hyundai's service department five times now with the same concurring problem and have been given the same response and conclusion every time. My encounter with the service department has been very displeasing. They are very disrespectful and since have been neglectful towards my safety concerns. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership.

"Doesn't value your time or you as a customer"

- Carless

Don't seem to value your time. Family has had a relatively new vehicle in for service for over 2 weeks now. Constant calling to get updates, constantly stopping in, provided dates of completion which come and go. Not only has service been deplorable but has stained our trust on the brand in general.

"WORST- I PAID MONEY for TIRE ROTATION. REALLY?"

- yash03

The worst experience with this dealership. I bought a new Hyundai Elantra last year from another dealership and it is metered only 20,000 miles as of today. As a service provider, the tire rotation should be free as it is free at any dealership and any automobile service provider. However, "Hyundai Kennesaw" does not provide free tire rotation just because I purchased a car from another Hyundai dealer. I mean, thats not my fault. I dont understand the logic of Hyundai as a brand in terms of service. The company should understand that it can spoil the image of brand and can loose customer if the customer does not get after sales service.

"Best customer service around"

- Trey51

I've purchased 3 vehicles from Hyundai of Kennesaw and couldn't be happier. Even after a year and a half I came in and spoke with Scott Morris and he remembered me like I was in yesterday. I had some issues that came up and talked to Scott about them, and without missing a beat he went way above and beyond to Make sure I was taken care of! It is because of him that I will be a loyal customer to Hyundai of Kennesaw!!! Thank you so much!! I have truly been amazed by how nice and helpful they have been since I drove off in my first vehicle from them. Even bought used from them and it's been a great experience! Thank you Scott Morris
