Typical Car Sales Bs This was my 1st time leasing a vehicle and I went to great lengths to explain that to the car salesman. I had concerns. My biggest concern was the mi This was my 1st time leasing a vehicle and I went to great lengths to explain that to the car salesman. I had concerns. My biggest concern was the mileage restriction. I don’t drive a lot but 7,500/year seemed very low. I expressed this to the salesman. His reply was,”Oh don’t worry about that. You can increase the mileage restriction ANY TIME you want AND the impact on your monthly payment will only be about $12/month”. That was A LIE. The truth is that you can’t do ANYTHING like that until halfway thru the lease and then you have to buy miles in bulk. This is a perfect example of typical car sales BS. Say whatever and/or promise whatever you have to in order to get a sale. Stay away from these people. More
