A Terrible Experience On Christmas Eve we went to buy a GMC Safari for a little over $5,000 and were told that they inspected everything and had no problems and that they e On Christmas Eve we went to buy a GMC Safari for a little over $5,000 and were told that they inspected everything and had no problems and that they even changed the oil recently. My dad asked if it had any problems with water mixing with the oil in the engine and we were told that they inspected the vehicle and there were no such problem. So my dad and I bought the van and drove back home which was at least a 3 hour drive. By the time we got home my dad had already noticed that the brake lines needed repair and that the engine rattled too much to sound normal. My dad has plenty of experience with repairing safari vans and decided to inspect it himself. But as he started look around to see if everything was working well, he noticed that the engine was mixing oil with water which was the same problem he had in a different car a few years ago. So seeing as he was already very aware of how long and tedious the repairs would be not to mention time consuming and expensive, he became very upset at the dealership because he specifically asked one of the dealership associates if it had that specific problem and they said no. So my dad called them that very day and they didn't pick up the phone. The next day they called him back and he asked if he could bring it back and get a refund or at least some of his money back or trade it in for a different vehicle. They told him that they were going to talk to their supervisor and when they got back to him all they told him was that they could not accept the van back because he had already put some work on it and they said have a nice day and ended the call. Overall, it seems that this dealership sells damaged used cars which they market as used cars that are certified and sells them for unreasonable prices and they don't even change the oil as promised. More

Very understanding! Back in April I decided to trade in my old Jeep on a newer one. Tim was great with helping me find what I thought I wanted. I called Tim and he hooked me up with the service department & everything was taken care of. I then drove it for a couple months and decided it wasn't quite what I wanted. Again, I called Tim and he had no problem with putting me in something else. I ended up deciding on a GMC Envoy & I couldn't be happier! I really appreciate all the time & patience that Tim put forth with dealing with me. I will definitely be back when I'm ready to purchase another vehicle. More
