Always a pleasure I took delivery of my 2016 Explorer XLT on July 16. The vehicle was everything I expected it to be, except a missing option. Unwilling to compromise My wife and I attempted to purchase a pre-owned vehicle at this dealer and had several issues with our particular sales associate. The vehicle was in My wife and I attempted to purchase a pre-owned vehicle at this dealer and had several issues with our particular sales associate. The vehicle was in our price range, but when we paid to have it assessed by our mechanic we found that the timing belt was worn to the point of needing replacement, the shocks were leaking and the windshield had a chunk taken out of it, requiring replacement instead of having it filled in. When we brought these issues back to the dealer with an estimate for the repairs, we pointed out that the asking price was too high for the work required and asked for the price to either be lowered partially to compensate or to have the work done in-house. Our saleswoman refused any negotiations, stating these issues were nonexistent and that we were not being reasonable. During this time, our saleswoman left several times to help other customers despite the fact that other staff were available to assist them. We found her conduct slightly rude and generally off-putting. We will pursue our purchase at another dealership for these reasons. We left very disappointed after having our deposit rudely refunded by a sales manager. More
