- FamilycarguyWith their service awards adorning the walls, I was optimistic. With written quote in hand for routine maintenance, I sat and watched through the large picture window. Before I knew it, I was told my car was ready. I asked how my tires were rotated without taking them off the car. He went back to the tech, who nodded yes. Then he pointed at the window where I stood, after which he nodded no. While waiting longer, another customer complained his bill was a lot higher than his quote; the excuse was the part price went up overnight. As they lowered my car, I asked why they didn't inspect the exhaust rattle he said they would easily take care of. Up she goes again! By now an elderly gentleman asked if they had washed his car as they promised. Nope, we're too busy to do that today was the response. Finally finished, my bill was a WHOPPING $180 more than the WRITTEN quote. Excuse? Software upgrade, prices are wrong. Finally, on the way home, I smelled antifreeze. I pulled over to find the cap loose, and antifreeze all over the engine compartment and exterior paint next to a 2" scratch that still had metal hanging off of it. No help, they say, it was fine when it left. Never again.

- roadmanAfter purchasing two vehicles from Dave's Nissan of Jackson, it became clear that sales are the high priority of this dealership. Don't expect good service from them. I have experienced very poor customer service as well as questionable service every time I visit their service department. At first I thought maybe my expectations might be a little high, however, I’ve had discussions with other Nissan owners who experience the same level of service. I drive 35 miles out of my way to get an oil change from another Nissan dealership just to avoid having to go to Dave's Nissan. tcolias is correct when referencing the complaints to the State of Michigan. Unfortunately I did not know this until after the fact. Lesson learned and shared...
