Thank you for your feed back. We do apologize that your visit did not live up to your expectations. This is something that our dealership does not take lightly. Our general procedure when this happens is to contact the customer followed by the authorities. We diligently work to get the firearm back to the customer. If it was in the truck when you traded it in you would have gotten it back. Stealing a firearm is a felony and we would immediately terminate any employees that would do such a thing. To clarify, the salesperson did not confirm that we had the firearm at any point, just that if it was in the truck, you would get it back. We apologize that you have not located your firearm and would encourage you to reach out to the law enforcement that took your report. We hope they would be able to further help.
