This is terrible place to do business with. I started the morning off with a call from an incompetent salesman who lied to me and failed to send me the requested info. This place is Horrible, they are slow to respond and even forgot that you inquired about a car. I would find a dealer that acutely cares about there customers. Today was an unfortunate day at Karplus in Pacoima. I went to view a car and was very excited to see it and test drive it. The car was not ready to drive when I arrived and Elizabeth (Who was a sweet I went to view a car and was very excited to see it and test drive it. The car was not ready to drive when I arrived and Elizabeth (Who was a sweetheart) asked if I could come back later in the evening so they can get it washed and pulled out from behind a couple other cars. I said no problem and left. I went back with my wife tonight and test drove the car. I was ready to purchase and when we sat down one of the managers came and explained that the price posted online was a "starting price" and not the actual purchase price. He proceeded to tell me that it'd be extra for things like wheels, toolkits, lift kits, etc. He said the price would actually be $4,800 more than the listed price. After trying to understand the logic behind this he said, "All dealerships do this." Well, Mr. Manager, just because all dealerships do this, doesn't make it right. He encouraged me to look for a private party to purchase from. I left disappointed and felt completely bamboozled by this dealership. If I were you, I'd steer clear from this dealership. More

I STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE and the salesman John. I came by to look at a vehicle I was interested in last night and customer service was horrible. I first called and spoke to John to inquire about the vehicle to make sure its still available he said it was and to ask for him when i get there. When I first got there no sales person is the be found, I talked to the manager that was there and they called John over the intercom, after waiting a while John still doesn't show up. The manager noticing this kindly helped me out and showed me the vehicle, he left me with the key to take a look at everything and said he was going to go find John. John still takes forever to come, by the time he comes I've already looked at and inspected all the cosmetic damages that I can see, which was quite a bit but that's expected with a used car. I knew right away I didn't want the car, there was front bumper damage with a cracked grill and the bumper color didn't match the rest of the car, I can tell its been worked on, but I was still interested in looking at other cars on the lot. When John came over he asked if I wanted to see the carfax, I said I didn't need to see it. He then asked if the keys in my hand were for the vehicle, I said yes and he didn't say anything else he grabbed them and just started walking away. Didn't ask if I was interested in looking at anything else, and didn't give me a chance to ask about other cars, he just beelined it but to where ever he was to begin with. I talked to the manager that had helped me out and let him know exactly what happened and told him that was super unprofessional. Just because I wasn't interested in one doesn't mean I wasn't interested in anything else. The manager was very nice though and offered if he could offer me anything but at that point I was already very off put by John and his rude and uninterested attitude I no longer wanted anything to do with the dealership. The manager said that he was going to deal with the issue, I highly doubt it was dealt with, if he so easily treated me like that I'm sure he does it to everyone. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. The worst dealer you can visit, we found a car online, we called the dealer, we made an appointment, and we talked about the numbers, we explained that we came from Las Vegas to California just for that car, called the dealer, we made an appointment, and we talked about the numbers, we explained that we came from Las Vegas to California just for that car, when we arrived the agent who attended us by phone was daytime rest, those who did not attend did not know anything about the deal and in the end after losing 3 hours in the office we returned without the car, the price had risen, and they wanted to sell us another car even more expensive, I do not recommend that dealer. Very helpful staff, they have tons of inventory. I have a hard time choosing the car I want but they help me through the way in choosing the right one. It’s been 2 years now and the car still runs great but hard time choosing the car I want but they help me through the way in choosing the right one. It’s been 2 years now and the car still runs great but sadly time for me to upgrade to a bigger one. Family is growing. Will soon be headed back to Karplus. I highly recommend this place. You can never go wrong. More
