The customer was asked to give us a deposit to take the used vehicle off the market before he left his home. We do this to ensure it is not sold before they get here. Plus,we knew they were driving 3 hours or so to us. The customer refused to give deposit. If they had decided not to take the vehicle it would have been refunded. They had called into the store when they were an hour away. Again, they were asked for a deposit to take the vehicle off the market. Literally, 10 minutes before their arrival; the vehicle was sold. The customer was told this when they arrived and got upset on our showroom floor. They were saying obsenities and using obsecene gestures. We have video tape of the customer using obscene gestures directed at our sales staff.
