Hard working, willing My wife and I made Mike work hard for his money to get us the truck we wanted. The truck we were looking to get turned out to be very few and far bet My wife and I made Mike work hard for his money to get us the truck we wanted. The truck we were looking to get turned out to be very few and far between. He searched and searched and worked very well with me to make sure the ones he did find had at least most of the options we wanted. He ended up finding a ram that had all the options we requested, but it turned out to be almost 400 miles away in northern michigan. Regardless, Mike went the extra mile to make sure his customers were pleased and had a flatbed drive to where the truck was located, picked it up and brought it back to Elkhorn within a day. We couldn't be happier with our new truck and the service that was given to us by Mike Oberthaler and the rest of the Kunes Country staff. More

What can I say Well as usual when individuals go car shopping, they usually are not really ready. My husband and I (me mostly) went to test drive a Jeep Wrangler and then a Jeep Grand. Ryan was our sales rep and he was fabulous. No hard sales but plenty of questions about ME in general for this was to be my car. When my husband and I returned from our test driving the Wrangler and Ryan got our input of the pros/cons; he says....I know exactly what you need to fit your "style". He took us over the the Jeep Grand Cherokee "Altitude" and after driving it...there was NO WAY I was giving it back. Ryan matched me and my "attitude" !!! Chris is great also in explaining everything in laymen terms and working magic with the financing; but when all is said and done...he just took my money (LOLO) Kunes will be my choice forever! More

We actually walked away from one other local dealer due to their shady sales practices in 2013. We made the drive out to Kunes in Elkhorn Wi which is approximately 45 minutes each way from our house and Im glad we did. Not just for the fairness of the purchase vehicle price but also the honest appraisal of our trade in. From vehicle price to trade to finance the numbers were what we had initially expected 7 months ago. There are good quality people here who treat you as you want to be treated. I will definitely do business with the Kunes group in the future. Thanks for everything! More

Joe was excellent to work with from his no pressure professional approach to his willingness to help us get some little extras added on to our new Cherokee. The car and paperwork were ready to go when we arrived at our appointment to finish the deal and drive our new car home. Everyone at Kunes was helpful and courteous through the whole process. We got a fair price for our trade and were not "low balled" like you get at some dealerships. I am a local Elkhorn resident and I will continue to shop at Kunes when we need to buy a car. More

Jeep Trailhawk I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to this dealer because I was promised a competitive price. After much negotiation I ended up paying $500 - $1000 more th I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to this dealer because I was promised a competitive price. After much negotiation I ended up paying $500 - $1000 more than every other dealer had quoted me. I paid the extra money because they had the vehicle in stock and I was getting tired of looking. Once I hesitantly agreed to pay the extra money I sat in the showroom twiddling my thumbs for over 2 hours simply waiting to pay for the vehicle (in cash). Nobody was available to take my money. As I was getting frustrated the salesman also got frustrated and he tried embarrassing me by sarcastically yelling out "this guy is more important than the other customer". Had I gotten the competitive price I was promised I probably would not have gotten so frustrated waiting around for over 2 hours to give them my money. I have purchased over a dozen new vehicles from various dealers and this was by far my worst experience! Terrible price and lousy service! More
