Loved working with our sales guy, he was great in showing us the car and explaining all of the features. We didn’t buy it at first we walked away and returned a few hours later. Was told my truck was Toyota certified for 100,000 miles UNTIL we were at the singing table, then I was told it was NOT certified. I’m not an idiot, I know he purposefully mislead me until we were at the signing table. The car was on the lot for an extended period of time for a reason, but he played dumb. To have peace of mind, I ended up paying $2,000 for an extended warranty. 2 idiotic plays on my behalf - I was just excited to buy a truck so I breezed through the car salesmen omission of information and talked myself into the extended warranty. After about 2 days, I noticed the truck had significant scratches that I didn’t notice when I bought it. I’ve tried to get it repaired about 3 times, but my sales rep was never at work on the days I arrived - apparently he was the only person that could help with a touch up paint job? Months later, I was told over the phone that they would do the touch up paint the same day I got my oil change - I showed up and of course no touch up paint on site. I didn’t need an oil change, I just wanted my paint touched up and an early oil change wouldn’t hurt. I then spoke with the sales rep that sold me my car and said he would take care of me with a touch up paint job the following week. Well he stopped responding and took no proactive approach to make sure I was taken care of. A good sales rep that wants future business would proactively follow up. We have another kid on the way so the wife needs to upgrade her 2014 Explorer to a new highlander or sequoia. I would love to give my business to Lander, but their customer service is trash. If this review gets someone to resolve my concerns, then perhaps I’ll get the new car next month at Lander. If they ignore this (which I expect), I’ll take my business to Fayetteville. More
