I had John Whipple as my Service Advisor for many years. He is now the Assisant Service Manager. Congratulations Mr. Whipple !!! I’m happy he has become the ASM, but I will definitely miss him as my Service Advisor.

"Great Customer Service"

My service required some finagling with 3rd party insurance over the phone. Nicole spent a good 20+ minutes on hold with the Carvana's insurance to help me file a claim and save me some money. Then another hour+ off and on on the details. Despite being extremely busy at the time (not exaggerating as she was handling multiple service tasks / customers and on multiple simultaneous phone calls + skipping lunch), she didn't give me a hard time about it at all. Very genuine and pleasant person. However much she's getting paid, she should be getting paid more. Highly recommend.

"Very poor service experience"

We dropped off our '06 Prius on May 31, 2018 for a routine check with no diagnostics showing except for the low tire pressure icon. It is now June 9, 10 days later without any contact from Larry Miller Toyota. We have called, left messages, even had the receptionist write out a very specific hard copy message to Hauser's boss Andre Alire all to no effect. This is the single worst dealer experience that I have had in my 51 years in the car business (GM and Toyota). Really awful - be warned,

"Pre-purchased oil change"

Tanner got the process started and taken care of in a timely manner, and assisted on a special request on my tire rotation. Tanner was pleasant and helpful, unfortunately, that's the exception rather than the rule at LHM Toyota. When you pull into the service bay you will typically be greeted with blank stares or just ignored, so Tanner'a response earns him the stars but isn't enough to pull up his unhappy co-workers. The entire place is long overdue for a remodel and upgraded amenities. That might be the ticket to change some dispositions, but until those changes occur you may want to try another shop.

"Not impressed with service advisor"

My wife brought in our RAV 4 for an 11:15 AM appointment to the get shocks and struts checked out. They told us at the time if all four struts needed to be replaced, it would be $1200.00 dollars and would be tomorrow before it would be ready. 2 hours later they called saying 1 of the front struts were damaged and the other 3 were bad. I called and talked to John the service technician. We discussed the situation and I decided that we would only replace the front struts. (I was thinking the vehicle had four, and that would cut the cost in half. The next afternoon we had to call (1:18 PM) and asked about when the vehicle would be ready. He told my wife he did would have to call her back because he was with a customer. Finally he called and said they did not have the parts and would need to get them from Denver. He finally called at 4:15 P.M(Next day) saying our car was read. He never explained the vehicle only had struts in the front. I assumed the repairs would cost around $600... Instead, the cost was over $1000.00. John should have explained that a RAV 4 only has struts in the front and the total cost would be over $1000.00. My bad for not asking the right question, but I feel he should have been more upfront and explained the costs we were facing Lesson learned no doubt

came to this dealer (Larry H. Miller- Boulder Toyota, Colorado) for a recall I received last month. Rork helped me a lot with his expertise and provided in depth analysis of my car's current condition. He was quick and courteous. "Paint failure on new iA, no warranty"

I bought a 2017 Toyota Yaris iA in February from Larry H Miller Toyota Boulder. In August while cleaning off bird droppings that had been on the car for perhaps a couple of weeks, I found the paint was destroyed down to the metal on multiple places on the roof. This was not minor cosmetic damage; this was catastrophic paint failure. Toyota and Larry H Miller Toyota Boulder dealership said this was normal - "NO FACTORY DEFECT FOUND" - and said it was therefore not covered under the Toyota warranty. The Larry H Miller dealership made no effort to get this fixed under warranty. Neither Toyota and the Larry H Miller made any effort to stand behind their product. The Larry H Miller Toyota Boulder letterhead says "Rock Solid Satisfaction". Its a complete lie.
