I arrived on a Tuesday morning withe no one in the pre owned show room with $50k in my pocket, ready to buy a car.I have a Lexus and now want one for my wife. The receptionist refused to look up for her computer, and the gentleman behind her was on his phone and looked like he just finished plowing the back 40. After wandering around for 10 minutes, I approached the receptionist again, and.saw she was busy clothes shopping on line. So I interrupted her and announced I’m here to buy a car. Without looking up, she called out to the person behind her, and he ended up being a salesman with a Russian accent,( I think.) I told him what I wanted, and he brought me to a car. I told him the door was locked, and he said yeah, we locked some of them on the floor”. Never offered to even open the door. I asked him what the difference between a sport model, and a traditional model was, in one word, he said,” cosmetics.” What does that mean? Like this car gets lipstick and eyeliner? What the xxxx does “cosmetics” mean. At that point I was done. 90 seconds. I started to leave and then asked about a different model. Then he pointed in the vague direction of nine cars and says “yeah, there’s one over there”. so I went over looked at it, and eventually, he showed up. I found my way to the door and left never to return. He never introduced himself,, and never gave me a business card. Nothing. The downside of all this now I have to go to Northborough Lexus to spend my money! More
