"Terrible Service and Lack of Honor"

- Upset customer with no dealership support

Bought a 2011 Equinox a few weeks ago. Also asked for 3 month warranty, which was granted. After a few days noticed backup camera and radio not working. Called dealership and said call service and we'll make it right. Went back to dealership thinking they would stand behind product they just sold. I was told by Ryan (used car manager) it is was it is. They said they would gladly fix everything for $300. I was shocked and disappointed. I was considering another vehicle on their lot but now steering clear. Would tread carefully when dealing with these folks.

Lima Auto Mall responded

We sold a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with 81,958 miles on it and offered a extended warranty that would have covered the problem. We gave you a three month or 3,000 mile warranty that covers major components at no cost to you. We checked your vehicle for the problems you had and could not get the back up camera to duplicate the problem. The radio was in working order when you picked it up. We did not charge for this service. We found the radio antenna had been damaged and not covered under warranty. We discounted the job for you as a good will for our customer. I went to the Kia dealership a few months ago, and all I got was a big hassel. I was treated very fairly at The Lima Auto Mall. I couldn't be more pleased with the attention and professional treatment that I received. It only took one trip to The Auto Mall. I think I made three trips to Kia and was never satisfied with what they wanted to do for me. Thank you to all the great people I met at The Auto Mall.

I miss the Lima Auto Mall team! They have always provided great customer service and outstanding service. They go above and beyond! Super friendly and accomadating. I recently moved out of area and have not found a dealership in the same league. I purchased 2 vehicles from the Lima auto Mall and if was closer I would purchase again!

"Recall on 2011 Inpala"

Called service about a recall on a 2011 Impala the first thing they ask me if I bought my car there or had it serviced there, I said no. They took my phone number and said they would call me. That was five months ago and no phone call yet. I thought a dealer had to take care of a recall even if you didn't buy it there. What is going on here? I did not take any names and I did not get any service.

"Dear Lima Auto Mall, My mother brought her 2006 car into..."

Dear Lima Auto Mall, My mother brought her 2006 car into you for standard service and winterizing, a car running fine. Three days later she gets her car back with a $3300+ dollar bill. This is an 89 year old woman that trusts you to take care of her car, I ask her what was repaired; her answer a tire, they worked on the brakes and changed the oil. If the person doesn't understand what you are doing then that is not licence to go ahead and blindly conduct the work. So what did we do, change all the gaskets because a little oil was seeping! Wow she barely drives 3000 miles a year is this really something that affected the safety of the car. Whoever is involved with this should be ashamed! Is this how you would treat an elderly member of your family or would you take the time to truly make sure they had all the options available to them? Why cant you guys just be the "white Knights" and just do the right thing. This is now the second incident in which her interests were not handled correctly by your establishment, the first of which required me to contact General Motors directly to get them to cover the cost on a known faulty part that would have cost her over $1200.00. Reputation folks is all yours I have no control over it, but you do! Thanks for looking out for your customers........I hope somebody enjoys their commission from this deal because after 7 New car purchases and countless service.......this will be the last penny your dealership will receive! Update: I have talked with the dealership and was told you will either not like us less or not like us at all when everything is done; way to set your standards in customer service high! End result no resolution, no offer to try and make anything right. Thanks also for deleting my negative remarks off of your facebook page, way to be honest, no wonder all your reviews on there are positive!

We took our used Chevy in to have it serviced, and the service was great...fast and friendly. While we were waiting we talked with Sean Sanders, who sold us the used car, and he gave us such a good deal on a new Chey Impala that we couldn't refuse. We would recommed the Lima Auto Mall to anyone looking for a new or used car or truck. The service we have always been given has been fast and friendly. The building is absolutely spotless, which I feel shows they take pride in their business, and from the service we've always had, I feel they value their customers.

Our sales, service and every interaction has been superlative. 5 stars out of 5, including surprisingly competitive pricing for items classically less expensive at independents, such as for tires, We have purchased two lightly used vehicles from these people and would always look there first for our next ones. The people are friendly abd obviously go out of their way to provide a great experience in all respects. Strongly recommended.
