I recently purchased a 20-6 Buick Regal from Lithia and Kim Heren was my salesperson . She was attentive and exceptionally professional in each and every phase of the purchasing process. I could not as Kim Heren was my salesperson . She was attentive and exceptionally professional in each and every phase of the purchasing process. I could not ask for a more competent and knowledgeable individual to step in and make the car buying process as painless as possible not to mention in an efficiently time manner to boot. Thanks to Kim Heren, Jared, the finance manager and the entire Lithia team for making my birthday extra special. More
I have an extended warranty I purchased with my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2015. During my most recent service on 7/14/21, service department staff argued that I did not in fact have a 60k service chec Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2015. During my most recent service on 7/14/21, service department staff argued that I did not in fact have a 60k service check up, and my extended warranty covers no such thing. While waiting in their waiting room, I pulled up my own copy of my extended warranty from Mopar’s website and brought it back out to speak with the service department staff. Turns out, I have been taking my vehicle in for the past 5 years and they have never had a copy of my extended warranty on file, even though I bought the vehicle brand new from a certified Jeep dealership, have mentioned the warranty at every single subsequent service, and have a copy of it in my glove box. At this service, further showing that they had no idea about it, the service department staff even asked me to email them a copy of it so they could have one on file. I am beyond frustrated at this point, now knowing that my vehicle has not been serviced per the terms of my extended service contract. I did not receive any call back from a single employee until I was sent an email survey on 7/20/21, where I detailed the experience I am detailing now. I received a call the next morning from Will Grenier, who is the Jeep Service Department Manager. We spoke on the phone in the afternoon on 7/22/21, where Will listened to my concerns, validated them and assured me he would speak with his warranty specialist Denise to review my entire record, all previous service invoices, and would let me know if I was overcharged at any point over the past 5 years so they could issue me reimbursement. He promised me a call back, “before end of day tomorrow.” It is now 9/2/21, over a month later, and I have yet to receive any sort of contact back from Will Grenier or anyone at this dealership. I have left multiple voicemails and still no return call to offer any reassurance that this matter will be taken care of appropriately. Still waiting for a call back from Will, or literally anyone at this point for a resolution. I will update this review if I get one. More
I ordered a 2021 Charger Scat Pack Widebody the end of July 2021, I chose Lithia of Portland because I was emailing back an forth with Skylar Hibsch and she was very good at getting back to me. Ordering t July 2021, I chose Lithia of Portland because I was emailing back an forth with Skylar Hibsch and she was very good at getting back to me. Ordering the vehicle was a very simple process and my widebody is supposed to be to the dealership around middle of September. I should also mention that the dealership where I bought my R/T Charger from which is the one I sold, They wanted to charge me a $4000 market adjustment on the new one. Lithia of Portland did not increase the price on my build sheet. I went in a couple days ago to see if they wanted to buy my trade 2 1/2 weeks before my widebody is supposed to be there because the price of a used R/T Charger keeps dropping on KBB. They made me a top dollar offer and more than any place else was going to give me. I'm very happy with the process so far and have no reason to believe anything is going to change. If you're looking to do a sold order on a Scat Pack Widebody, something else or just buying something else go to Lithia of Portland and ask for Skylar Hibsch she is a joy to work with. More
I will caution anyone who reads this that this Lithia location is horrible to work with on any service / warranty work and they clearly don’t safety their vehicles properly. I purchased a truck and a location is horrible to work with on any service / warranty work and they clearly don’t safety their vehicles properly. I purchased a truck and after only 4,000 miles the check engine light came on and had to take it to another certified dealership. Not only did they locate the issue but found some serious safety issues that Lithia failed to catch when they sold me the truck. There was a bad U-joint and both rear axle seals needed replaced. These just don’t magically fail after 4,000 miles. Will Grenier is Lithia’s service manager and is horrible at returning phone calls and / or responding to emails. After several failed attempts to get ahold of Will (or anyone that could help me) I had to spend 2 hours of drive time down to the dealership and ask to speak with Will. Will gave me nothing but excuses and flat out told me i was 1 of 800 customers. Instead of capitalizing on making things right by making a couple phone calls, he brushed me off and it was clear to me he didn’t care. If your that backlogged with customers, hire more help Lithia. While your at it, have Will attend some customer service classes. More
Quite honestly, if I could give zero stars to this dealership I would in a heartbeat. From beginning until even after the end my experience with this dealership has been the worst I have ever had buyi dealership I would in a heartbeat. From beginning until even after the end my experience with this dealership has been the worst I have ever had buying a vehicle. I live an hour and a half from the dealership and was in communication via email on the vehicle I purchased. I set up an appointment for the next day saying I would be there to purchase the vehicle at noon. I arrived at noon, only to barely be greeted by the person I had been working with to be passed off to another salesperson. When the vehicle I purchased was brought around for me to test drive it was filthy, the interior smelled of smoke and the damage to the vehicle had not been disclosed. I was prepared to buy the vehicle anyways and had communicated prior to arrival how I would like it all to happen. During the deal all I asked for was some touch up paint and was told that wouldn’t be a problem. I was also told by two people they would fill the gas tank. (Which didn’t happen) At this point I have already been there for hours and was waiting for final paperwork. I had provided an account I wanted the down payment to be taken from and it was time to sign the final paperwork. While signing the paperwork, now a few hours into the process I sign for the down payment to be processed only later realize the finance guy had somehow located a different account of mine and decided he would use that account instead. Mind you I NEVER provided that account number to him. (I will revisit this in a few) While signing the paperwork I was told the vehicle did not have a factory warranty! Say what?! You are just now telling me this?!? Mind you this vehicle is just a year old and has just under 18k miles and a clean and clear title. The GM for the store came in and clicked a few buttons.. and somehow “fixed” the warranty issue. I was to the point I just want to be done with this experience. I finished the paperwork and left with the vehicle still not clean and still smelling like smoke even though the salesperson told me they deodorized it and it should be smelling like a new vehicle in a day or so. I drove my vehicle home and the next week rolls around. Mind you I never got a call, an email, nothing from the dealership about what I was about to find out. I received a phone call from Florida from a company that processes this dealerships down payments over a week later. I talked to a male from that company who tells me the down payment did not fund. I had plenty of money in the account to cover the down payment. I’m talking with him and he told me the dealership attempted to collect funds from a different account of mine instead of the account and routing number I provided at the time of my purchase. The male seemed shocked and told me that never should have happened. Not only did I not provide the account number to the finance guy at the dealership, but somehow he took it upon himself to locate my account and use that account instead of the one I provided him. The man from Florida further told me the down payment did not fund. I was shocked that I did not hear anything from The dealership about this. I emailed and called the dealership finance person I worked with multiple times and never heard back from them until the man from Florida called them. This continued to be a problem with getting phone calls from Florida. I finally notified the dealership I would just send them a check for the money and they could make it right since it was their error. I was told by the dealership that they were already paid by the Florida company so they could not help me. Great customer service on something they messed up. Sorry, not our problem anymore. What started with horrible communication, over promises, lies and omissions ended two weeks later when I had to figure it out for myself. No wonder dealerships have reputations, this one lived up to all of them. More
We had a wonderful experience with Kim Heren. When we test drove the vehicle, both my husband and myself wanted the car, but really wanted to buy from her. She was a true joy. She was extremely friendly test drove the vehicle, both my husband and myself wanted the car, but really wanted to buy from her. She was a true joy. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dealer was willing to negotiate and we walked away happy! We also traded in a vehicle and they gave us a good price. The vehicle was put for sale at about double what they gave us, which is extremely fair, especially in today's market. We did have to wait quite sometime for financing department, almost 2 hours, but once we were in there the paperwork was quick. They were short a financing person that day. My husband loves his new car. Thank you for making the 4 hour drive worth it! More
Never custom order from this dealer, they will threaten to sell it to someone else as leverage to drive up the price. Let me expand upon this: They failed to honor affiliate pricing because they said to sell it to someone else as leverage to drive up the price. Let me expand upon this: They failed to honor affiliate pricing because they said they already had another offer on a Jeep I custom ordered and had a deposit on. Basically ransomed the Jeep I ordered. Finance officer was unprofessional as well. Dropped an F bomb after I rejected their financing and went with my own. Then didn't submit detailed paperwork to my CU and messed up my loan. They also waved around the price from when I ordered. But, the salesman said in an email "We will gladly look into any incentives you qualify for once the Wrangler is here on the ground." I had the paperwork showing that I was qualified. All communications since have been ignored and no action will likely be taken. They are just going to move on to the next customer they can screw. More
When I came to them I was a hard-working single mom of 2 When I came to them I was a hard-working single mom of 2 little boys, ready to buy a car that would last me and my little guys for years to come. It When I came to them I was a hard-working single mom of 2 little boys, ready to buy a car that would last me and my little guys for years to come. It was going to change our lives! What I didn't realize was that this company took advantage me and sold me a lemon that didn't even last a year. This is debt I am stuck with, this is a car I cannot drive...this has stolen money, time, effort, and freedom not just from me, but from my boys. They took from me to line their pockets and could care less about what happened afterward. I purchased a Kia Sorento in June 2020 and it drove just fine for a couple months, but by November I had already sunk $1200 into it because the break lines had a leak, there was an oil leak, and there were additional issues with the start button not consistently functioning. I chalked it up to a bit of bad luck, my learning curve, and trudged forward. Now it's May 25th and my car has stopped working again. It's currently in the shop and the mechanic sent me a LAUNDRY LIST OF ISSUES that need to be fixed and are detrimental to the life and usability of this car. I can't believe this is my life, and furthermore, I can't believe they would fix up a car just enough to get it off the lot, but not enough to last to a year. I will never go here again. I'm heartbroken that I have to find a way to come back from this. It never should have happened. More
