"New Gereration Jeep Wrangler purchased 7/31/18"

My issues with Jeep Wrangler purchased new 7/31/18 seem just to be an inconvenience to the service staff and management. I hope that this can be resolved as I have pledged a handsome sum of money for a New Gereration Jeep Wrangler that is too new for the service team to relate any knowledge or attempt to work out the bugs. Service manager, John Hileman just mentioned that I need to wait for recalls or TSBs for the problems that I have been experiencing without repair or attention. There is according to JeepCares a TSB 08-092-18 that applies to my VIN # but was not applied when I brought that to the Service Dept. attention. Clutch/Transmission makes horrible grind between shifts when accelerating and shifting. Their investigation was limitted comparison got to another JL on the lot. Both techs that rode with me confirmed abnormal sound when sfifting during the ride that they took with me. No replacement of clutch or internal investigation was authorized by service manager and blamed my driving technique. Mileage out: 1711 Steering wheel has play at least 1 when turned to each side with deadspot. This has been an ongoing complaint and with this being a new model. Jeepcares has authorized a later generation steering box to be installed but service manager John will not authorize this to take place. Mileage out: 2458 This is not the experience that I have encountered with other brands or dealerships.

"Appointment was to see advisor not for the actual repairs"

Called in to make an appointment for alignment a week ahead and when I showed up to the appointment I was told the appointment was only to see the service advisor not for the repair. For the repair I would have to leave my truck and they would see if they could get to it that day.

"Service department"

The service department is a joke! Jon is unprofessional, a liar, a manipulator, and the list goes on. We had a service truck dropped off to be diagnosed for a rear end noise. After almost two full weeks on giving the go ahead to do the repair work.....it still isn't done. First excuse...we don't have a lift. Second excuse the parts got second day aired to the wrong place so now they wont be in for another week. What a joke! We will never take our vehicles to them again. We will also never buy a truck from them in the future like we had planned on doing.

"Wow what service"

I have always had the best service at this dealership. Every time I come in for service or need a repair, they are fast, friendly and helpful. Other places might have great sales pitches about their service being #1, but these folks can't be beat. I have to give the parts department kudos too.
