Mark Obee and Pete Melendez took great care of us and were not pushy, secretive, or shady about what was happening. We had a wonderful financial close guy (for the life of me I cannot remember his name, he was from Hawaii and so friendly!) We received a very fair deal, excellent service, great follow up, and best pf all, we LOVE our new RAV4. I can't recommend the dealership enough. Thank you for taking such good care of us! More

As agreed on Monday, we met at the dealership and was greeted by more than 2 people asking to help me, gave me water, then was introduced to Alex who referred me to a veteran and knowledgeable Sales person Kelly - nice guy, honest, straight shooter. Quickly, he was able to locate the car I was searching for (which just got delivered among many), gave me the print our of the car and its features, and walked me to the car for a viewing. Once it was agreed to be the one, I told the negotiator Steve about an offer I had received from another dealer in writing for the same car, to see if Livermore would be willing to match or do better. They did. I signed some papers with Alex in Finance, and was done in 2 hours. Great Team! More

After driving from San We bought a 2015 Prius at Livermore Toyota. After calling about the plates after 8 weeks, I was told that mix-ups are common. After driving from San Jose to Livermore to the dealership, I discovered that the dealer had our plates because there was no home address on the contract, registration, or any of the DMV forms filled out by the salesman and the finance manager. After filling out a new form for which I was not given a copy, I was told that everything would be corrected. Over a year later, we discovered that we never had the problem corrected. We had to make a special trip to our DMV office to correct forms, get our title slip, and renew the registration. Don't buy from Livermore Toyota. Nobody checks the paperwork, nor do they care enough to contact their customers when there is a problem More

There is a due bill for a headrest that is missing and also to have the vehicle aligned since it pulls to the right. We have been calling every other week since the week we bought the car and have gotten nothing but grief. First we were passed around because it was "someone else's" job - then finally got to Serena, the Service Supervisor who promised it would be taken care of. Well imagine my surprise today (2 weeks after the last phone call) when I got yet, another call asking which headrest it is because they need to order it! I have never had such poor service from a dealership in my life. More
MY ADVICE: GET EVERYTHING ON WRITING BEFORE YOU SIGN ANY DOC I had a great experience on my first visit. The sale man Guss was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. He follow-up next day and convinced us I had a great experience on my first visit. The sale man Guss was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. He follow-up next day and convinced us that Livermore toyota is the best place to buy my new car. The experience took 180 degree shift as soon as I filled the leasing form. I was told that the specific color (white) vehicle is in storage and will only be pulled out once I submit all papers. We had very specific color requirement and agreed to pay higher price for that. Once I signed the paper, I was told by finance that this is not a zero percent finance (sales guy told me that its going to be zero percent). I was asked to pay for additional $1500 for zero percent. First promise broke. Then the sales guy comes back and ask me to pay extra for some equipment that is fitted in the car (although those were of no use to me and was never discussed earlier). It was presented in a way that these are mandatory buy with the vehicle. This was another shock. Then the finance guy told that he will not allow any additional $200 accessory (side moldings) which was agreed by the sales director Mark. Mark O totally refused to the promise he made during sales process. At that time, I did't have any option as I already spent so much time and my credit and loan was already processed. So I agreed to not getting accessories. The sales behavior started becoming more and more rough as we progress. Next day as gave call to salesperson and dropped him email to confirm delivery of my car and did not receive any response. Finally I got my car and realised that it does not have the interior what sale guy committed (because of which we agreed on higher price and model). He asked me to buy specific color accessory from spares store and pay for it. More

I can't say anything nice about Alex (Finance Manager) so I just suggest you avoid him altogether. We started out with an unsatisfying buying experience but after emailing Serena (Customer Service) and Todd Brennan (Sales Mgr) with our concerns, Todd called us within 24 hours to listen and discuss a resolution. We are very happy with the way Todd treated us with respect, listened and corrected everything for us. More
Liars, Deceptive, Bait and Switch, Avoid this Dealer LIARS, LIARS, LIARS, is the best way to sum up the experience I had with this dealer this past weekend. Hands down the worst new car buying experienc LIARS, LIARS, LIARS, is the best way to sum up the experience I had with this dealer this past weekend. Hands down the worst new car buying experience I ever had. It all started when I finally found a tacoma truck on their website advertised with a $219/month with $1999 down lease special indicating that it was in inventory. I have been looking all over the bay area looking for this truck since it is a really good price on the 2016 SR base model. I immediately filled out the online form asking someone to call me back to verify that they have it in stock. About an hour later I received that call that they did in fact have the truck in stock and they setup a "VIP" appointment for me to go test drive it. I make the drive from concord to Livermore and when I reach the dealership, I go to reception and the person whom I had an appointment with was with another customer and not available. I was told to wait and someone will be right with me. 15 minutes later a sales man comes over, introduces himself and tells me he will be helping me out and will be right back. So I wait and wait for him to get back to me, so far I am in there 30 minutes just waiting, so much for VIP appointment that totally went out the window. I finally spot my sales guy with another customer, I walk over to him and he apologizes, he is with another customer. Fair enough. He comes over to me again and says lets go look for the truck. Brings me outside and starts wandering through the lot looking for the truck. We spend about 10 minutes in the cold, windy rain looking for this truck. Eventually he gave up and we went back inside, had me wait another 10 minutes and guess what? The truck is mysteriously not available anymore!! LIARS. At that moment I was so pissed from driving all the way from Concord especially since they told me they had it in Stock. LIARS! Then the manager comes over, tells me their sister lot in Roseville has a truck "they just received yesterday so it’s not in their system" and it is eligible for the Lease special. I said ok I am interested in buying it, he said no problem they can even deliver it to my house. Manager said he was going to set it up with Roseville. In the meantime my original sales guy comes over and says that he has an SR5 Model available in the lot. Here comes the Bait and switch routine. Of course this truck was not eligible for the lease special was going to cost over $2000 more and I didn’t want it. I did request to test drive since it was similar to the truck I wanted. After the test drive, the sales guy asked me if I would take this truck if he "worked with me" on the price. Mistakenly I said yes and it launched the paperwork, credit application and the back and forth between the salesman and the manager to work out a price. After about 20 minutes he comes back to me with the exact same sticker price, no discount whatsoever. xxx! I told him to forget about the SR5 and let’s work on the Roseville truck, NO, he insisted on going back to the manager and try to come back with another price for me. (high pressure sales tactics at work) luckily I am stubborn and told him NO again and lets work on getting the Roseville truck purchased. At this point I told him I was very frustrated and not happy with the situation. He just smirked and went on. After about another 15 minutes of waiting he comes back to me and low and behold guess what just happened?? The Roseville truck is suddenly not eligible for the lease. LIARS!! I read the fine print on the lease offer on the website and it was for model 7162, the specs on the Roseville truck said 7162 but the manager gave me some xx saying that the lease was only applicable to models with no rear seats. LIAR!! Of course, he said he can get me the Roseville truck and going to cost a little more (Another Bait and Switch). I asked how much and that set off another 20 minutes of back and forth with an increase to $266 month. I said no. Finally the sales guys goes back to the manager and comes back after another 10-15 minutes with $199/month but the sneaky xxxxxxx raised the down payment from $1999 to $2999. I said sure let’s do it, but before we proceed can I have my credit application back I want to verify something. Another 5 minutes later he comes back with the manager all happy that I agreed to their new price. I stood up took the credit application paperwork and tore it up in their faces!!! F.U I said, you should have seen the look on their faces. Priceless. Another customer next to me comes by and shakes my hand for standing up to these lowlifes xxxx of the earth typically sleazy car sales people. Don't trust them go in there informed. I spoke to another couple in their "since I had so much time to kill" and they also had their sneaking suspicions. SHAME on you Livermore Toyota, for you are the prime example of a car dealership to avoid and you are not worthy of selling the Toyota brand. You should take the walk of SHAME just like Cersei did in the Game of Thrones…. SHAME! SHAME ! SHAME! More
