"Two females are better than ever. "

I just bought my car from the sales department a few of months ago and I had to say awesome experience at sales. I have worked with Amana and Alma and I have to say they are two females that run the show!! Juan the manager I think, amana and alma are the unbelievable Trio that always work with you! I have been to koeppel and I've seen how the operate- No way Jose- I come here and these young ladies are always on top of their game. Helping me and other customers (I mean I stood by& overheard) sorry for that. If those three are not there I am not ever going back! Those two young ladies kill the stereotype for women and cars. I absolutely love it.

"Absolutely Terrible"

Service Manager's car was blocking the drive up lane in the morning. As I pulled around and into the lane, the plastic parking cone had a metal VW sign attached to it that scratched the side of my car. They said they'd fix it, but didn't even attempt. Who's the idiot that thinks a metal sign sticking into the pull up lane on a crowded street is a good idea? What kind of a service manager blocks access to the customers for his own convenience? Didn't receive a call for the entire day with a quote for any of the work. When we called to find out, we were told we couldn't be emailed an estimate. Get this team a computer for crying out loud. Felt completely ripped off for Jiffy Lube levels of service. When I complained, they dropped the price in half, but still ridiculous. As an owner of two Volkswagen's, I will never bring my car here, nor will I ever buy a car from you. I would never take my car here for anything.

"A place I cannot trust"

This morning I took my car to the new VW Service Center at 33-20 55 street in Long Island City because the top of the car was leaking and I thought it may have been my sunroof, which by the way it was fixed by the Koppel VW service center not long ago. The lady behind the desk told me that there was a diagnostics fee (over 200.00) and the repair would cost between $1500.00 to $1900.00. Given that I was routinely overcharged by the Koppel VW service center and I had stopped using their service because of it, I decided to obtain a second opinion. I took the car to a mechanic I used to use years ago. The "diagnostics" he performed lasted 5 minutes and he spent another 10 minutes to fix the problem for free! Although I do not expect to receive a free service, the discrepancy was outrageous and a rip off. I will never go back there again, as it is not the place I can trust.

I had a little trouble finding the place. I used to be a customer at Koeppel VW and was used to going there. When I finally found LIC VW, I was pleased with the service. Amana the service adviser was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and efficient. My car had a 27-point inspection and no work was needed but I was in and out in a little over an hour.

"A great trade in for a new leased car!"

Met unexpectedly with Oscar Peralta. Came for an oil change on my 2014 Jetta and left with a great Golf GTI! Love it. The folks there are so nice and kind and thoughtful. It was a great experience. I love Volkswagen!

"Great Customer Service"

It is indeed a new dealer ( new owner, not just a rename from Koeppel) that is in the process of building a strong solid team, however i had a great experince as a new customer and received great customer service !! Brought in my GTI for some engine troubleshooting and picked up my car 3 days later with the issue resolved and 0 cost. They took care of everything even though they did not have to. Juan and his team spent time to figure out a solution to my problem. I really appreciate the fact that they were always responsive from the 1st moment whether phone or email. No screened phone calls, no unresponsive emails like i had experienced with other dealers, no BS. Definitely recommend it, and if you had a bad experience before, give them another shot, it seems that these guys actually care.

"Terrible customer service experience."

This review is for the service department. Top to bottom this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, considering I had used their service dept when it was Koeppel and it was not a great experience either. I needed to have some minor bodywork done on my car as well as a drivers side window replacement. They had my car for 2 weeks, the first week with absolutely no communication (from Bernie, my service rep) or phone calls to either me or the insurance company when they "never got a fax" from my insurance - the car sat untouched for almost a week, and no one tried to contact me. In addition, anytime I tried to contact my service rep I was put on long, extensive holds up to 20 minutes or was told my phone call would be returned and no one would ever call me back. I did finally speak to a manager who assured he'd be switching my case to another service rep, and told me there is a lot of turnover at this location now and things are unorganized and crazy. This manager also described to me how he "wasn't confident" in the work their body shop was doing and often had to send cars back (wow, that makes me feel great about you having my car!) Fine, but they still kept telling me my car would be ready the next day, and it was days and days until it actually ended up being ready. When I got the car back there was a radio station I never listen to BLASTING when I turned the car on, my pepper spray keychain had been stolen/lost off my keys (another $10 down the drain), and the controls on my VW were all reset, so my phone, etc no longer connected to my car. Ther'es also a nick in the paint on my brand-new painted drivers side mirror. I am still trying to fix these issues now. ***WHY did they need to be touching the radio or bluetooth controls when fixing the outside body of my car?** Then on top of it all, I was double-charged for a part on my car (paid for the part, and they used a different part and charged the insurance.) I ended up having to walk across the street to the dealership to speak to a higher up manager because of course no one at the service dept could help me, they just offered me my oil change for free and 50% off my next service appointment (when I have NO plans to EVER use this place again!). It took almost 2 hours to get them to refund my part they double-charged me for, and after I went to the dealership I had to walk back to the parts dept to get it refunded. Nothing was done about my missing pepper spray or the fact that my car radio was messed with. The amount of time I had to spend both in this place and at the phone dealing with these people during my work week was ridiculous, and I'd never use this place again, even for free. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience anywhere. I'd rather PAY and take my business elsewhere and plan on taking the car back to the place I bought it in NJ for my next service appointment.
