"Never again"

- dealerreviewer

Advise you to try other GM dealerships in the area, especially Parks Chevrolet in Columbia, or Walker Chevrolet or Darrell Waltrip Buick GMC in Franklin. Our previous vehicle purchasing experiences at these other area dealerships were much better with competitive pricing and employees focused on customer satisfaction (Lucas, not so much).

"I do NOT recommend this dealership"

- Joe Enriquez

Unfortunately I think I have lost faith in this dealership and probably Chevrolet. I bought a 2011 Silverado Certified Pre-Owned with 32,000 miles and brought it back for numerous issues. Was told this process was all approved by GM and that's how it was. Both rear taillights, missing window molding, numerous scratches, body damage to left side and bed, paint over spray on window and trim pieces, vibration due to bad tires, car was not even detailed and was told they do not have a detail dept., "service park assist" light on when I test drove it, etc, etc. They didn't even fill up the gas tank and I had to fill it up halfway home. The only actions took was the installed the missing left rear window molding. The only person that even remotely helped was D. Anderson and it seemed he only had so much authority to help me. I worked in this industry for over 9 years, Lexus of Nashville, Mercedes of Nashville just to name a few. I've never seen this before ever, this is the type of horror stories I hear from other customers that I fear and now it's happening to me. After seeing the issues with this truck and the lack of customer service I believe absolutely nothing will happen. I've asked for the general manager and the owner but it seems I was always derailed when I called and asked for them up front but that's okay. After talking to 3 other Chevy dealerships they all told me that they should of repaired or replaced those issues before it was even out on the lot let alone me taking delivery of it. The most craziest thing was we paid cash... I filed a complaint with GM directly and we will see...

"Environmental charge for nothing"

- LeyVet

I had my tire air sensors recalibrated to the car. I also had them do a test drive for a noise. The didn't find the noise but the did complete the sensors. The bill showed a charge for Environmental of $16.34. There was no waist disposed of and no parts were replaced. The just billed me for it with no explanation. My total bill was over $160.00. While waiting to pick up my car I went into the show room. I stated that my Vet was in the shop and was interested in a new one. The sales person was not helpful at all. I will buy my new Vet someplace else.

"Stay away at all costs"

- bcars94

I went into Lucas Chevrolet with the intent to buy a Chevy Spark. I met the salesperson who is the reason this review deserves at least one star. I cannot remember his name but he was very friendly and courteous. I test drove the car and it fell short of my expectations but I was still interested in possibly making a deal. When I went inside the "new" finance manager was at the desk and my salesperson informed me that all negotiations would have to go through him. Once we got the paperwork going the manager ran the numbers and gave them to our salesperson. I gave the salesperson a lowball figure which I knew was out of the ballpark but I wanted to feel out what I was working with. What I didn't expect was the manager to fake a laugh and tell the salesperson "never, never would I do that in any circumstance". The manager comes over and then proceeds to sit down with me and tell me that "GM mandates their prices so they can't go lower than msrp". I then ask if he can go any lower as I "couldn't afford the car". His response was extremely condescending and smug as he said "well you better find a cheaper car". I at that point had enough and proceeded to take my business elsewhere where I spent 2x the cost of the car I test drove. If you want to be insulted and pay sticker for a new car go to Lucas Chevrolet, they won't disappoint.
