"Flat out lie to you"

"Service driver alert system" light came on. Made an appointment, and they had to replace the Haptic motor in the seat, because the wires broke off. (very common problem apparently) Covered by my extended warranty. (only has 25000 miles on vehicle) Drove it a week later, and the "Service driver alert system" light was on again, and seat was no longer working. Called the dealer, and was told to bring it back in. They called a day later and said it was done again. Asked what they found and Tyler told me it was something on one of the sensors, that was blocking it, and needed special cleaner to get it off. Was informed that I now have to pay to clean the sensor, and pay for the loaner vehicle. Just paid it to get the xxxx out of there. Called Chevrolet, and a tech guy called me back to inform me that if a sensor is blocked for any period of time, it will automatically turn off the front parking assist. NOT trigger a "Service drivers alert system" warning. Stuck a piece of tape over a sensor, and sure enough, it shut it off. Dealer either charged me to recoup money for a faulty installation or part, and Tyler flat out lied to me about the whole thing!

A routine oil change isn't usually the highlight of a weekend but this one came damn close! I pulled my new Malibu into the service area and was immediately greeted with a cheerful smile by the technician. Upon entering the waiting area, I encountered some of the best complimentary goodies I've found at any dealer - cookies, donuts, and darn good coffee. The wait time was shorter than expected and I was on my way with a free car wash; excellent start to a Saturday!

"Major Noise ---on Freeway"

My 2003 Malibu LS developed an awful clunking noise merging on the Freeway--fear-can I get off safely?. Once safely off the road called Luther Chev service, my "Angel" Bruce, offered a tow to the garage but AAA on the way. Bruce was great got in without an appointment, too bad the repair would be $$$$. Bruce introduced me to Kevin from sales/leasing who spent a long time trying to find a vehicle for me. Unfortunately I couldn't find the one I wanted. Bruce was supportive to me when I made the decision to sale my car. The caring of what was BEST for me came first and that you don't see everywhere. Thank you Bruce! You made this emotionally painful time so much easier. Thanks to Jeremy in service for your time and help too.
