Quick but not quite thorogh Service was quick and seemed very efficient. However once I left the dealership, I noticed that the technician did not reset the maintenance message. So now, I am going to have to drive back over to the dealership to get it reset. More
Spider joint / u joint on the main drive shaft went out on truck at 85000 miles. I was specifically told I had joint that needed to be greased by staff. The person in department specifically told me he mad on truck at 85000 miles. I was specifically told I had joint that needed to be greased by staff. The person in department specifically told me he made the visual of drive shaft with the person workedmworked on my truck/ changed the part out. After the fact.. same person( male/ eyeglasses, full beared, older) told me that this model truck normally has u joints that do not need to be greased. I payed for extended warranty and service through mak haik toyota. My needle bearings on the u joint were described as "falling out". Center bearing after joint was described as "warped" .. this speaks of excess friction and heat because lack of proper lubrication. In February I have form from regular Maintence and brake change at mak haik toyota stating no issues. Manager Darrel Devillier told me that "Visual" Is made during scheduled Maintence. I argue that my truck was not maintenced appropriately. I purchased extended care and vehicle was not appropriately addressed for by staff. If mak haik staff would made reported "visual" then bearings would be greased and I would have had no issues. I feel unnecessary financial burdened by this event. More
