Upon receiving the estimate from the dealership you visited after departing McKie, we spoke to the Service Advisor that assisted you. He informed us that your service visit at McKie Ford Lincoln did NOT cause the hose to leak and there were other areas where the hose(s) had been rubbing. We did offered and paid the dealership to cover almost 80% of the total cost as a measure of good will. We're sorry to hear that you felt we needed to cover 100% of a repair that we did not cause according the the servicing dealership. Thank you for your review.

Yes this 'well informed' decision he is referring to is to take it into their service department for diagnostics... so that I will then know what is wrong with the car and how much it is going to cost me to fix it. I am positive they were well aware of this issue prior to me purchasing it. When we showed up to test drive the car the sales had it running waiting for us. No I didn't think twice about it at the time but once I got it home and I started it from a cold start the front end shakes and rattles until it is warmed up. I asked about history of the car and was told was in small accident etc nothing major and that u would receive copy of carfax with my paperwork. I did not receive a copy of the Carfax until I called and spoke with one of the sales manager emailed it to me. Looking at the carfax report, it was in a small accident but it was stolen. I know they were well aware of this information and not only failed to advise me of it but lied when I ask regarding the history. SO BUYER BEWARE NOT ONLY WILL MCKIE FORD FAIL TO STAND BEHIND PRODUCTS THEY SELL, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU REGARDING HISTORY OF A VEHICLE. Thanks McKie Ford for the large $5100 paperweight I now have in my driveway. BUYER!! BUY from a dealership with INTERGRITY and someone who VALUES their customers... BREHMER AUTO!! Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you feel like we didn't care and you felt our manager was rude and useless. We understand that vehicle issues, especially when far from home, can be very frustrating. Our Service Department is extremely busy during the months of May-October due to the influx of tourists to the Black Hills. Our policy is that we require an appointment during these months for any repairs being performed by our main shop. We unfortunately, are unable to accommodate walk-in customers while others are waiting for their appointments. Our Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center still operates without an appointment for minor maintenance. Thank you again for the feedback and have a safe rest of your trip.

Like i said originally...purchasexd ford due to alleged availability of quality service. No service was available. Bupkis. So...if you buy a ford and it craps out with less than 13000 miles...you eont be able to get it fixed. Keep that in mind while vehicle shopping. Avoid ford and mckie ford
