I recently purchased an outstanding pre-owned Mercedes (that I LOVE!) from this dealership. The salesman (Michael) was very accommodating. He even came in on his day off to make sure that we took delivery of our new car without a hitch. Five Star Service! The negotiation process was easy. I worked with the finance manager (Kristian) who was also a pleasure to work with. Simple and clear. No hidden charges or extra fees. He even was able to finance us with our current bank. Also, Five Star Service! I scheduled a service appointment (Nathan) to check the AC. Nathan was very friendly and helpful. Great job of explaining everything. My AC was fixed and ready the next morning, no charge. Again Five Star Service! A diagnostic, while it was being serviced, indicated that the rear tires were at a level 1 on a scale of 1-10 where 10 is the best and 1 is the worst. Expecting the same level of stellar customer service that I have received so far, I reached out to the General Manager (Anthony) requesting that the dealership replace my rear tires, because they are not safe to drive on. In turn I offered to purchase new front tires at my own expense so that I would have a new set. According to Anthony, a 1 out of 10 rating does not fall within "their" range to qualify for replacement. Unfortunately, for that reason ONLY, I do not recommend Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines. More
