Just found out today that my maintenance certificate for oil change service has expired and I have to pay for the coming oil change. I had been told the certificate was good each 10,000 miles for service. oil change service has expired and I have to pay for the coming oil change. I had been told the certificate was good each 10,000 miles for service. When I purchased them (four total) I was never told that they would expire. This was my 4th Mercedes purchase and the expiration feature was never mentioned in past purchases. We drive the car very little and it is now about 5 years old with only 34,000 miles. More
The absolute worst service on any vehicle I’ve ever had. Bought the car - gave me the key, said “bye”. No clue how to work all the buttons, etc. Was down in shop 7 days to get a new battery! In 6 months wouldn’t start, got a jump, took to MBZ HSV yesterday - have called numerous times, today, still no word. Have no idea what is the matter or when it will be fixed. I’ll NEVER have another MBZ from here. This is my 6th MBZ in 3 different states, the WORST service. If I keep this car I’ll need to find a reliable service place. So disappointed! Also, when call service, just get “leave a message” but no one calls back. I was sitting in my newly jumped car, trying to figure out what to do, just got same message. Any new MBZ owner, FIND ANOTHER SERVICE PLACE!! More
I bought a 2023 Mercedes EQS 580 on Oct 29, 2022. I have owned it for less than 3 months and it has been in the shop 3 different times for a total of 40 days and it still sits there today. This Company does not care about its customers or doing what is right. Save yourself the frustration and nightmare that we have endured. Take your money to a dealership that values your business. My experience at Mercedes-Benz of Huntsville was HORRIBLE. I went in to get my tires balanced and rotated; however, it was not done correctly. Traveling to my parents' home (3 hours away) with my 9 HORRIBLE. I went in to get my tires balanced and rotated; however, it was not done correctly. Traveling to my parents' home (3 hours away) with my 9 year old son on Christmas Eve was the worst driving experience I have ever had in my life. My vehicle was shaking erratically the entire ride. If the service department was not equipped to accurately perform the service, then they should not have attempted to work on my vehicle. They put my life and my son's life in danger with their negligence. What made things worse was the arrogance from the service manager (George Burton) and the general manager (Scott Moskow). The general manager had the audacity to speak on a clerical error made by the company who properly did their job and fixed Mercedes-Benz of Huntsville's mistake. The other company did a great job and was much cheaper. He should have spoken to his employees about their poor decision-making and quality of work. I will not be doing business at this location again. More
Excellent & honest service department Scheduled a service on my SLK because a/c wasn't blowing cold and also had a brake alert/warning showing on the control panel...not only did they do a Scheduled a service on my SLK because a/c wasn't blowing cold and also had a brake alert/warning showing on the control panel...not only did they do a thorough diagnosis of the a/c system and determine it just need evaced and freon, but the alert was due to missing sensor wiring harness-which is not necessary for the car to run correctly....and given the current pandemic situation, and being unemployed since March, I really appreciated the openness/honesty/integrity of Julie Praitano when she advised me that I could go without the harness-AND did not misguide me towards a more expensive/unnecessary a/c repair, as other dealerships/shops very well may have...I'm going to strongly recommend this service department to EVERYONE I know-as well as the sales department, as their workers were kind/professional/curtious as I waited in the service lounge. Sloppy Service Dept I recently hit a pothole and blew a tire on my 2017 E300. Took it to the service department and had to leave it overnight while they got a replacement. I was disappointed to notice on the drive home, that the new tire was at 42psi, while all the others were left at 33psi. Not a big deal since I do have an air compressor (air only, no nitrogen) and took care of it. However, yesterday I noticed an ugly gouge in the bottom of my door interior where someone pulling my car around apparently caught their hunting boot as they were getting out of the car! It's hideous, and have no idea how much they will want to fix it. Very disappointed and will most likely not let my car out of my sight when I take it in for service again. This is not acceptable! I wish I could attach a photo. I'm posting this only because nobody in the service department responded to my text. More
Scott Moskow and Tyler Hand were very helpful. I took my car into the service center for a faulty horn. A new one was ordered. When I was notified that the horn was available I drove it in just to I took my car into the service center for a faulty horn. A new one was ordered. When I was notified that the horn was available I drove it in just to find out that it was the WRONG horn. While we waited for the right horn to come in I had my car at the Landers Mclarty Chevy Collision Center for some minor grille and component adjustments. While the grille was off the horns were exposed so I thought it was a good idea to have the horn replaced then so it wouldn't have to be taken apart again to install the new horn. Someone from the MB service center went to pick up the car from the collision center and while they transported it back to MB both of the front wheel well liners were damaged by rubbing against the front tires. Than I had to wait for new liners to come in. I finally got everything fixed but at a considerable loss of TIME and aggravation. I didn't appreciate the way my car had been treated and I regret to say that I will NOT be going back to MB of Huntsville or the Chevy collision center. More
