I wasn't sure how it got there, but Mercedes was willing to help me with my investment and offered to touch it up for me. After the service was complete, I wasn't satisfied with the results, not because it wasn't good, but because I expected a different result. When I raised my concern, my awesome Service Advisor, Brandon, offered to see what he could do. Not only did he have the whole door repainted—at no cost, he also gave me a loaner car for the week my car was in the shop! I have to say it was service beyond expectation and top notch. Whenever someone I know is car shopping, I steer them towards Mercedes A. because the car is awesome, and B. because the service can't be beat! Thank you Mercedes team and Brandon! More

I'm n ***The Internet Sales Manager, James Reemts, completely saved this originally 1-star review. Please read on.*** Pay attention to this review. I'm not a bullsh***er. Honesty is my #1 philosophy to live by. I just bought a 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 3 days ago on March 30th. I love the car, there's no doubt about that. My problem comes from the sleazy sales strategies of the finance manager, Andrea. I HATE talking bad about people, but when someone is deceptive and uses lies for the mere benefit of him/herself or his/her company, I don't just let that slide by. Dishonesty really grinds my gears. I am a first-time car buyer, and I went in with a pre-qualification through Capital One. When it came time to run my credit to compare against other lenders, it came down to Wells Fargo and Capital One. My pre-qualification was for 60-months. I intended to leave with a 60-month term. Andrea took no time at all trying to push to get my monthly payments as low as possible....but at the cost of pushing out my term to 72-months, increasing the overall cost, and in-turn, putting more dollars into her pocket. I am fully aware that this is a typical sales tactic that makes it seem like they're doing the customer a favor, but it's really only wasting more money on interest. What I was not fully aware of, due to inexperience and lack of knowledge of rules and regulations, was that I did not have to just simply agree to the 72-month terms that Andrea had pulled from Wells Fargo and Capital One. I mentioned to her that I wanted a 60-month term per my pre-qualification. She told me that the terms she had pulled were different from the pre-qualification because that's exactly what it was, a PRE-qualification. Ok, fair enough. But after hearing me say that I was opting for a 60-month, she pushed hard for the 72-month terms. I can't remember verbatim what she said, but she told me basically something along the lines of it was too late to change the terms because the credit that I was qualified for at the 72-months was already locked in, and she couldn't change it. Again, back to my lack of knowledge about rules and regulations...I didn't realize that what she told me was a bold-faced lie. I also didn't want to leave the dealership having just been hit with a hard inquiry on my credit in vain. Shame on me for not doing more homework. Shame on her though for exploitation of my ignorance. In addition to the dishonesty with the credit pull, she also pushed for the usual extended warranty and some other bullsh** etched parts warranty. When I asked her about the "optional" etch warranty, she went on some spiel about how it was already included in the price and that it was "required" for the dealership's insurance. Not knowing anything about how that works with how dealerships protect themselves, I went along with it. The truth of the matter is this "optional" etch warranty was indeed tacked on top of the tag price and not actually included in it. It also was not "required" by the dealership for insurance purposes. That's two more lies, Andrea. You're on a roll. Once again, shame on me for not looking over everything in more detail and not asking her to show me documented proof of her claims. Shame on her for exploiting my ignorance. One last lie that I caught her in was regarding the original warranty. The car was originally sold in April of 2014. The manufacturer's original warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles. The car is currently at 19,700 miles and it has only been 3 years. I mentioned that to her, and she told me "Oh. No, it only has 3 months left. You're going to DEFINITELY want the extended warranty." Again, shame on me for not speaking up and calling her out on her bullsh**, but shame on her for lying and being completely dishonest. One final thing that I don't appreciate at all is that, while not a lie, she told me that "what's great about this, is that we can't charge any more than $2,000 to customers for the extended warranty, so you're getting a KILLER deal." A 480,000-mile extended warranty? What a joke. I don't know why I didn't see that sooner. Same with the etch warranty. Lucky for me, I can still cancel the bullsh** warranties that I don't need. The takeaway from this experience is this: DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I just had to deal with this crap so that you don't have to. Again, I'm no bullsh***er. I will fully own up to my mistakes and acknowledge my ignorance. I am just appalled at the utter exploitation, deception, lies, and dishonesty of the finance manager, all in the name of a quick buck. It's sad that people have to protect themselves from this. Dishonesty in this business is rewarded, which is unacceptable. Andrea's tactics truly lived up to the stereotype of a sleazy car salesperson. Congratulations to her. I'm not going to say stay away from this dealership, but I am going to expose the truth. **James has since re-done my financial contract, removed the unnecessary warranties upon my inquiry, set me up with a service to fill in a chip on the windshield, and saved my initially negative review. His superiors need to acknowledge this. Well-done. More
