Over-filled oil; engine blew out on highway The final straw of bad service came with this latest visit for what was supposed to be routine maintenance and turned into a lengthy ordeal that could The final straw of bad service came with this latest visit for what was supposed to be routine maintenance and turned into a lengthy ordeal that could have destroyed my vehicle. There have been problems with quality control in the past, including an improperly installed oil cap that resulted in a leak, but at least the car was able to be driven back to the service station. This latest incident involved blue clouds of smoke, engine failure at highway speeds, being towed into the service shop, and missed work--all because someone did not properly check the dipstick oil levels or take a quick test drive after the maintenance. Jorge did his best with a bad situation, but was betrayed by the technicians in the back. And though it is minor in comparison: what happened to the complimentary car wash? More
