"Service Department Blues"

I had a 4:00 appointment at Nalley Honda Union City for an oil change. I pulled in at 3:55 it was three advisors helping other customers at 3:59 the service manager said someone will be with you shortly. I said I'm glad someone decided to acknowledge me; he said what did you say, I said it again and asked where is the restroom. Another car pulled in as I walked back to the service department to my surprise they were pulling the car that came after me in to get service. By this time it was 4:10 one of the advisors said we will be with you shortly she then asked another advisor to help me. His reply was I'm helping a customer and within 10 seconds he ask my name. I was telling him I had another problem he said its 4:00 we close at 5:00 we only doing oil changes. I actually was going to tell him my problem was once you cut my car off its a certain way you have to start it after he said that I told him not to worry about it. The advisor then walked to the over head door and push the button to open it and walked away. I forgot to mention I have been going to this service department to get both my 2009 an 2015 honda service since 2011. #POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! #IT ONLY TAKES ONE TIME! #NEVER AGAIN!

"Avoid!"

Made an appointment on 2/15/18 during a Valenties Day Special that they had for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment on my 2006 Acura TL. Of course the services took forever but that's always the case at Nalley Union City. After driving the car for a week or so, I noticed that my car was pulling to the right very hard as well as the steering wheel moves when going at low speeds over any uneven terrain; this was never the case before. I read up online and the reason for this is caused by a poor alignment job. I wanted an alignment because it hadn't had one in a while and was slightly pulling to the left but I now have a worse alignment than I came in with and they never even bothered to rotate my tires! I didn't know what the before/after measurements were for the alignment as I was never given a printout of this at the time of service so I started emailing trying to get an answer. I emailed my "service advisor", Zahir, on March 22nd, no response, again on March 26th and finally got a response "this is a copy of your alignment" with a picture from his phone taken of a computer screen showing my alignment but he didn't answer any of my questions or offer any assistance. I emailed again on April 11th, no response, April 18th, no response, I started to get a bit perturbed. I "chatted" with someone on their site, told them my problems and was assured that a manager would contact me...nothing. I "chatted" again with someone on their site to the same conclusion. I messaged them on their Facebook account on April 18th and was told that someone would contact me to which I got nothing. I messaged AGAIN on Facebook on April 23rd and no one answered. I messaged again on Facebook on April 25th and was told that I would be contacted by a manager...crickets. I still have yet to be contacted by anyone after giving my phone number and email multiple times to different people and also calling the service center to no avail. My car is still pulling very hard to the right and the steering wheel still jerks to the left and right when going at low speeds over uneven terrain such as bumps or approaching a red light. I do not feel that this is safe to keep driving around and my tires are going to end up wearing unevenly. All I want is for them to put it back on the alignment rack and fix their mistakes. Is it too much to ask for a dealership to have knowledgeable service technicians, an honest staff and a manager who would actually handle the complaints filed by customers? Please avoid this place at all costs, you will end up getting ripped off and taken advantage of. There's plenty of other, honest, repair shops around town that will stand behind their work.

"Duplicate services performed within 6 months"

Nalley Honda Service repeated services that they claimed made my car unsafe twice in 6 months. I've called the Service Manager and left messages twice to get an explanation but have not been contacted. When we picked up and showed proof they had already done (or at least what was previously charged to me) for the same service 6 months ago, he took the charges off with no explanation as to how or why I was told my car was unsafe to drive or why the services were done twice. Of an even more alarming safety concern, I was told I had a dry rotted belt. I had stopped in 3 weeks prior (18Nov2017) to get a tire looked at and confirm everything was safe for a long trip; I was told I needed two new tires installed and that everything else looked good for the trip. During this new service I paid 500.00 in "emergency" services needed to be done before it was safe to drive my car. How do you get a dry rotted belt in 3 weeks? These actions are very concerning as to the ethical behavior of Nalley Honda Service Department.

"Beware of Nalley Honda's Service Department"

Christopher Thompson was very rude and dismissive. I tried to explain my situation to him but he in so many words accused me of lying. He would not listen to my explanation of the situation. I have never had a service manager to be so outright rude and disrespectful. Karim did listen but he did not offer a solution to the problem. I will never set foot in this dealership again. I have friends and family members that are joining me in not patronizing this establishment ever again.

Mr. Easley has always serviced my car from the time I bought it new. He is technically proficient, professional and competent. I appreciate his candor and friendliness. He has always treated me and my family fairly and with respect. There has been times when I thought he was in error about the problem with my vehicle and invariably he was correct. And often he has spotted potential problems about my car I was not aware of. He is quick to offer service coupons, if there are any.
